Makes me laugh that they didn’t fire Quinn. He worked with Whitt personally for years, knew him well. He poached and took Whitt with him and made him the Doctor run his defense. After demoting Whitt, the defense still sucked for the final 7 games.
Yet Whitt gets fired, and Quinn gets to hang around….really weird.

Not saying I want Whitt in town, but Wagner is still grading out among the best in the league. He'd be a strong stop-gap and veteran presence in that LB room. He played on a 1-year, $9m deal this season. If we offer a similar deal we have an opportunity to bring in an impact player at our weakest position.

Exactly!! I know Wagner is NFL old, but he would be our best LB by a long shot, and a nice guy to change the culture of the defense.
