From what I got from the video he refused the police's blood test but chose to get the test done privately and pay for it himself

Where did you read he got it done privately? The cops issued a warrant forcing him to do the blood test. I don't think they would let him leave and get it done outside of police supervision?

Ah, this one says that they searched Romo's vehicle before they towed it. I think the initial story from TMZ said they searched it after the tow which Romo's lawyers should be all over if that were the case.
