Commanders most dangerous of our last 3 games.

While I'm not saying that the Skins game won't be a challenge, their pass rush is not very strong and their offense is really struggling of late.

Carolina generates a lot of pressure and is very capable of hitting some big plays in the passing game. Given that both games are on the road, I have to argue that Carolina is the biggest remaining challenge.

I agree, the Panthers are gonna be tough but I'm not impressed with the Foreskins at all. They really aren't that good. I think we win big on our "home away from home" field...

The skins game IS THE MOST IMPORTANT game from here on out. A loss would put us in a tie with them with the skins having the head to head lead. We need a victory BAD. It is going to be a knock down drag out fight to the death, and don't think otherwise. I have a bad feeling our conservative O will return in full force leaving the cowboys fatihful stressing out until the very end.

I hope we shut them up early and run away with it. 52-0! Realistic? No. But it would send a bunch of 4skin fans home early and depressed. I hate the Commanders!

What it comes down to is Washington better not come out and play like they did against Arizona and expect to beat us. We gotta be riding high after a big win against KC, and they can't be too stoked about their perfomance today.

They have killed themselves with Turn Overs all season, and I don't expect that to change. As long as we dont go Arizona next week, I feel good about this game.

Literally every time i peaked over at the Skins Cards game, there was a turn over, it was ridiculous

Skins will be the hardest of the last 3 games we have. We are rivals and they are lookin for a last hope at the playoffs. If they beat us and both them and us finish 10-6 they have the tie breaker over us.

Well, in order for them to go 10-6, they would also have to beat the Giants.

Could be a real mess with three 10-6 teams with the skins holding the divisional tie-breaker over us.

Carolina > Washington

We own Washington in FedEx, we have lost their ONCE since it opened. We are clearly the better, more talented team.

Twice, 1997 and 2002.

Carolina's D, and specifically their D Line...worry me much more then Washingtons.

With that said...none of the remaining games are a gimme....especially this year ..the year of the Cardiac Cowboys.

The Commanders and the Cowboys i believe are both good teams...but they play at their opponents level almost every single game. I have noticed this about both teams.

Yeah, every single game except....

NYFGiants vs. Commanders

:lmao2:

Commanders and Carolina are similar teams but Carolina will be tougher because they have a better DL. That DL will give us matchup nightmares.

Washington has Moss at WR and really nothing else of consquence. Portis is still not an every down back in that offense no matter how much they try to make him one. When he does get yards its usually in the first half then limp home averaging 2-3 yards a pop after half time. Dallas has to cover Moss over the top every play. If they do that Wash will really struggle to score.

On defense Washington is just solid. They do not have game changing type guys over there. They have a guy with 4.5 sacks leading the team. They are bottom third in interceptions and fumble recoveries. They play a hybrid version of a cover 2. The run defense is suspect but they have kept everything underneath them against the pass. I don't suspect it will be easy to beat them but we will be able to run our offense because the pressure won't be the same as against teams with stellar front 4s.

Carolina's D-Line makes them a tougher matchup for us than Washington. Their numbers aren't overwhelming but Rucker/Peppers vs our OTs is similar to the situation vs NYG.

We've been playing from behind a lot lately. Would be nice to get a 7-10 point lead early. Then, instead of NEEDING a big play just to stay close or tie, a big play could possibly break the game wide open in our favor.

If anyone thinks beating the Skins is going to be a cake walk, you need to think again. Other than the 36-0 loss to the Giants, the Skins have had their opportunities to win their fare share of games, just like we have. I expect a very close game, hopefully the Boys can come out on top. Even if they do lose, the season won't be over quite yet, but I'm sure this board will be full of idiocy when and if it happens.

I don't think it will be a cake walk but I do think this is a game Dallas should win. Should Dallas lose it may not be the end but it would put us in a situation of having to depend on others to reach the playoffs. Dallas wins and we continue to control our own fate.

Division games usually are always tough. However, I think it would be tougher if we had won the game back in September and we were sitting at 9-4 than where we are right now. Not only is it against the Commanders, which should be enough to get up for the game, the way we lost back in September left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths on the team, including Roy Williams. I think he may be looking forward to making a statement in this game. I think we have the better team. But it's on the road and we have to limit any mistakes to come out as a victor.

I disagee. Carolina is better than the Skins. We also struggle when we play at Carolina. I think the Boys will beat the Skins, lose to the Panthers and beat the Rams. Hopefully, 10-6 will be good enough for a playoff spot. It sickens me though to think of all the games we've given away! Ugh!

Cakewalk? Hmmm. I'm tempted, but I won't go that far.
This game is set up perfectly for us. What will be sweeter than ending the Skins' season, in Washington, convincingly, and using the win to propel us through the end of the year? If we play a solid game and hold onto the ball, we win this game. There's a chance we even blow them out at home. Ha.

If we lose, we're still likely in a dogfight for the division, and the WC will be by no means out of reach. We're in a really good spot right now, IMHO.

We wont lose, the skins are dangerous, but come on, Brunell threw 3 ints to THE CARDS!!!!! I know with a healthy Henry next week, and Glenn, and Newman, Brunell will throw picks a plenty!!!!!!!!!!

The way standings are set right now, it's become a one-game season with the next loss probably ending playoff hopes for contenders, survive and advance to the tournament as BP says. The Cowboys probably wont even think about the Carolina game unless and until they whip Washington.

This is a MUST win! If we lose, the skins will own the tiebreaker and we'll have to root for a Skins loss as well as a Minny loss. If we win, we could still lose at Carolina and still have a decent shot at getting a wildcard. If we win them all...we're in!
