The Commanders will keep three roster spots open through this weekend's rookie minicamp, meaning some of the 60-plus players who will be invited on a tryout basis should return for the full squad minicamp in June. That also means Washington has no immediate interest in former Carolina receiver Keyshawn Johnson or Kansas City defensive end Eric Hicks.

Is it just me, or does that kind of negate the thread title just a little bit?

Don't shoot the messager...lol!

QUESTIONS?
Then you need to read the message closer, cuz your understanding is off. Or maybe use a better source.

If the post says, "no immediate interest." Where do you get Commanders interested?

summer's been begging for awhile, but it's a lost cause. He should stick to trying to catch up with Hostile's post count.

I didn't make up the title and since when is the Washington Times in Washington DC not a good source?

Since now apparently.

That title is 100% misleading... its actually quite the opposite of what the article is about.

power hungry much?

Keyshawn might actually be a decent fit in Washington, assuming they are interested. They dont have a big WR to go over the middle, and say what you want about Keyshawn, but he can do that. Could be a good compliment to the speedy Moss.

No different than this article.....

The four teams that want Keyshawn

Keyshawn Johnson might have to put his television career on hold. Word is there might be a pretty good market for him. The Eagles, Chargers, Giants and Titans are rumored to be among the teams that are at least thinking about pursuing Johnson.

Back to this article....

The author is clearly making his interpetation for this sentence:

That also means Washington has no immediate interest in former Carolina receiver Keyshawn Johnson or Kansas City defensive end Eric Hicks.

The author implies that the Skins may have a future interest.

When they post a headline that's totally uncorroborated in the content.

Think about this. If there are three people in this thread who says that the title doesn't match the content, then that means it's misleading.

In another thread you posted the other day about the Bucs #1 pick, the same thing happened. The title didn't fit the content and several people remarked about it.

So that means if people think you're titles are misleading, then you need to re-think the titles you post with. JMO, of course. But I think it's something you should consider in the future.

Not at all.

I just think I could do 1000x better of a job than most of these peanut heads in charge.
