no one's taking Howell, but I do agree, they should be able to turn this around

just gotta hope this is closer to the 2004 draft with Eli, Rivers and Big Ben and not the 2020 draft with Lawrence, Wilson and Trey...
I think Howell can be a high end back up. If we didnt trade for Lance Id be ok giving up a 4th. I could see a team giving up a 3rd because he can still improve

Howell may have a higher floor, but I don't think he has the upside

And that pick will be far outside the top 100, more like 130 or possibly later

Respectfully, changing the name was nonsense.
I stand by my comments. I live in the area.
Gee, but a large-scale sample of actual native american people conducted rigorously (not the the one Snyder kept citing) found that overwhelmingly the name was seen as offensive.

Yeah you live around there but you are likely just talking to people in an echo chamber.

I would say the rigorous conduction failed to correctly
define the word. Part of my "echo chamber" consists of
Piscataway Indians. Also, roughly 1 million people total in
the tri-county area roughly 40 minutes from FEDex Field.
One area is named Indian Head, Md.

Throw enough money at a group of people and they'll
say anything. 300 people got the name changed.
300,000 have signed a petition to change it back.
But that'll likely never happen.

The chief of the Piscataway Tribe spoke about how offensive the name was. Get their Tribe name out of your argument

One dude speaks for the whole tribe?
Ha! Not in the 21st century.
Does your leader speak for you?
Bah!

Okay, I read the article. Essentially an 80 year old man
is asked to make comments in support of changing the
name. After all, this is Maryland. Dude totally lies about
the forbidden name. Everyone becomes "shocked and outraged".

See: Land of Lakes butter, Aunt Jemima syrup, etc.

Nobody digs for information. They just read the headline.
