It's ok because honestly, we are in the same boat. Take off the Silver and Blue glasses right now and their problems from the top to the bottom are just like ours. Still fun to laugh at them though.

You're catching a lot of heat for this but honestly I kind of see your point. Over the past few weeks the Cowboys have been blasted by many for their performance on the field, Jerry Jones focusing on the wrong things and how we "should be 5 -0" if this and that had happened. But honestly at this point in the season we haven't done anything to allow ourselves to sit back and point our fingers at them after nearly losing to this same Chiefs team just the week before.

This is a league where if you win it makes all the little things mean nothing. The Commanders just like the Cowboys have made every game they've played so far this season unusually close regardless of the opponent, they have had shaky QB play, and the biggest difference has been the games that we have found a way in the end to come away with a win, the Skins are losing these games.

The fact that we are both playing each Sunday extremely too close and it bothers me that the Cowboys are doing this because eventually it's going to catch up with you. At some point we need to get it going and stop playing everygame into the final drive for the outcome.

I will say this though, the Cowboys differ in that our upside at 3 and 2 looks a lot better than theirs at 2 and 4... hopefully this season pans out over the next few weeks and we will be looking at meaningful games in December as usual after this slow start.

Snyder runs off coaches that are worth a flip, the best coach he ever hired was Marty Shottenheimer who took a dreadful team that started 0-5 and finished 8-8 with them, he fired him after the season for the "sexy" choice of Steve Spurrior.

So he inherited Norv Turner, he lasted a season and a half under Snyder, including Washington's lone playoff apperance since 1992 at the time.

Interim Terry Robeski finished up the 2000 season.

Marty Shottenheimer came into a disaster zone and was coach of the year material but Snyder fired anyhow.

Spurrior had two stinker seasons and resigned.

Gibbs got out of his racing car and bruised his ego and legacy with a medicore second tour and that he never really committed to.

Jim Zorn was hired in what appears to be a drunken bet.

So what's next for Snyder?

I predict a look at Jon Gruden but a rejection by Chucky over control.
The sure to be fired John Fox will then be hired from Carolina once that axe falls.

Didn't Marty get rid of Vinny, only to be fired, then Danny brought Vinny back?

We aren't we we would like to be, but the Boys current situation isn't remotely as bad as Washington's.

GM Cerrato.
Gotcha, i honestly don't know, i'm not that detailed in my Commander knowledge. Sounds probable however, I seem to recollect Snyder having a buddy boy favoritism with the man.

If we practiced ball security against the Giants and Broncos, as well as played our traditional defense at the end of each game instead of that stupid prevent.....we could be looking at 5-0 at the bye....

please do not lump us in with those losers up in D.C....

I dont know who is worse, the Skins or Congress...they are both garbage....Thank God I live in Texas.

I see this argument a lot here and it really is crazy. It's really quite close to saying 'if we were better, we'd be better.' We don't practice ball security and we do play prevent at the end of games. This has been true for as long as Wade has been here.

Frankly, I'm not all that unhappy with the loss today. Yes, I lost my voice from cheering for them today, but in the long term a loss might be good because this franchise needs better management. This season has been a tipping point, and fans are no longer giving Snyder any leeway for being a fan and spending a lot of money. Changes will be made, and it's going to take a really bad season to do it, but Snyder will eventually be forced to hire a GM and give him real authority.

Remotely as bad? Dude we are one win better than the Skins.

Which team am I talking about?

No championship since the 90's.
.500 record over the last 25 games.
Meddling, megalomaniacal owner.
Coach with no history of success everyone wants fired.
One free agency bust after another.

Yeah, that team.

Let's see. Owner coddles his players. Coach has no say so in stating standards. Coach who is supposedly good at being an offensive coordinator or qb coach has his offense looked lost on the field. How is that not similar to our problems right now.

That's just so profoundly stupid that it doesn't merit a response... so let's ust put it this way-- ask any Skins fan if he'd swap his organization for ours straight up right now...

They've given up on their season, they're convinced everything is hopeless... we haven't...

Well, except for YOU and a few others who think like you...

Let's stop fighting amongst ourselves and focus on the fact that the Redsk*ns are taking sucking to epic proportions.

Yeah, this is supposed to be a fun thread, but some gloom and doomers just have to crap on it with their "we've not better than they are" stupidity...

Seems like some of them just WANT us to be as miserable as Skins fans are... they are commonly referred to as "joyless PITA's"...

totally agree,

Say it loud, say it proud:

The Skins SUCK!!! In the annals of suckitude, rarely has such monumental suckage been observed... look up the word "suck" in the dictionary, and you'll see the Commanders' logo...

Indeed, it might be argued that FedEx Field is the black hole of the NFL...

Now, don't you feel better?? :D

Tuck your tail and skulk into one of the countless *****-threads that exist for the sole purpose of whining.

This thread is for mocking the Skins, not for making it clear to the rest of us that you lack confidence in the Cowboys.

They are going to be in a position to take a QB high in the draft.

Hopefully they'l take McCoy or Bradford and pay them 200 million to sign.

Exactly. It doesn't matter if the Skins have a top 5 pick, they'll squander it in the offseason by signing someone to a $120M contract that will only give them 9 games a season.
