I saw on NFL network where the Commanders received 3 3rd round picks. I know they lost Dockery, but who else? They signed London Fletcher so shouldn't this off set the loss of Dockery?

Think the 'Skins might actually draft some decent players now that they have some draft picks?

I think your forgetting that Dan Snyder is still making the decisions.

plenty of picks for them to trade away for useless veterans that are over the hill.

The Commanders got one 3rd round compensatory pick, I believe the other two were 7th rounders.

WASHINGTON
Lost – Derrick Dockery, T.J. Duckett, Warrick Holdman, Kenny Wright.
Signed – London Fletcher.

You are correct.

Hmm... what are the chances they take a CB with one of those picks then? Or maybe they really will trade them.

They'll try to spin this saying those Three 3's are better then our 2 First's.

I wondered if they get any compensation for the loss of Taylor.

I would think that comp picks only work for when a player of yours is picked up in FA. If they did, then couldn't the Packers get compensation for Favre retiring?

I seriously think way too many people just read the thread titles.:(

This is Jason Campbell's breakout season. Romo ain't got nothin on him.

i still don't understand how they could get a 3rd rounder... basically they swapped dockery for fletcher. did buffalo get a 3rd rounder also?

They need it.

Campbell = worthless joke of a supposed 'franchise qb' (all NFC fans should hope they make a franchise commitment to this POS);
Portis = self-promoting, me-first, system back that hasn't produced anything approaching elite since he left Denver; and offense.
Moss = midget who had one good year when teams weren't set to cover midgets. Since then, not a damn thing.

Those are their pathetic 'big three' who couldn't hold the jock of any 'triplets' in league history.

Then on defense, their best player is a Buffalo Bill reject.

Then at coaching, they failed so miserably to find any respectable coach, that they had to resort giving their head coaching gig to some spare who hasn't moved beyond QB coach in a decade and that Seattle thought so little of that they didn't even offer him a long term position as their QB coach.

This is a team that gets mildly excited about resigning spare-*** Jason Fabini. This is a team who thought Kendrick Golston and Texan-reject Todd Wade were going to be Pro Bowl starters for them last year. And this is the team that thinks Giants-reject Anthony Mix will be their savior at WR this year.

It's a moronic, worthless, second-tier franchise whose idiot fans think they are elite because they won 2 SBs during strike shortened years.

They are a non-elite franchise who wishes they were competitive with us and needs all the help they can get to merely carry our jock. So good for them that they get 3 compensatory picks--maybe now the NFC East wouldn't be dragged down in league estimation by their spare arses.

Wake me when they actually get within pissing distance of our 4th Lombardi or within 20 games of us on the head-to-head record.

That's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Or, you could be very, very right.:laugh2: Except for the second-tier franchise part. They're definitely a third-tier franchise.
