It was expected. A "June 1st" cut is gaining them $900,000 on the cap.

But they also lose $6 million on the cap next season.

It's been too long to edit this, but I was wrong. They have less dead money next offseason ($5.3 mil) and more this season.

The total is $7.1 million in dead money.
