The best thing about this losing streak, other than it being the Skins losing which is always fun for a Cowboys fan, is that it weeds out all the morons who come over here to talk smack with absolutely no actual football knowledge to back up their talk.

This leaves us with just the Skins fans that are worth having around.

:laugh2: You're trippin right? If he could hold on to an INT, he'd be up there with the greatest CBs in the league. His coverage is well above average, that's why so many teams don't even throw at him. He's also the best I've seen at making just enough contact to cause an imcompletion without drawing a penalty.

:laugh2: homer

I've seen us, Baltimore and New York throw at him

yep, drafting anything other than Oline and Defensive tackles in rounds one and three would be a big mistake.

The skins are in a position to take best player available. They have alot of holes they could fill outside of a few positions. Just drafting O or D line because you have too is dangerous at best. We did it for years in looking for D ends and it cost us big time in the long run.

Best player available and you can usually never go wrong.

9 out of 22 starters are on the lines, so there's a good chance that the best player available will fill a need. That's what I'll hope for anyway. Left tackles and pass rushing DEs tend to go a little too early, but hopefully there will be some interior lineman available (although OT is probably a bigger need than OG or C).

The Skins were 6-2 to start the season, what happened?

I still think Zorn has a good thing going there. Yeah-they haven't played well in the 2nd half, but nonetheless he's developing a nice system there...unlike Spurrier's cute, albeit over-the-top one-trick poney one. And they had a pretty good draft this year(Chris Horton was a steal for you guys).

I think the Skins will be fine in the long run, JMHO.

A few things happened actually. They have been hit with the injury bug, as have a number of teams, their QB has regressed to an alarming degree, their MVP canidate RB has been banged up, and then Sunday not even used in the second half, and teams have figured out Zorn's system to some degree. They've also realised that if you hold Portis to 90 yards or less rushing that you've put yourself in fantastic position to beat them because Campbell is simply not going to beat you with his arm.

Very good points -- although I added a little caveat to the last one.

And it begins with the O-line. The Skins gave up as many sacks against Pittsburgh, Dallas, NY and Seattle as they did in the previous 8 weeks combined. Baltimore only got to him 2x, but he was under constant pressure it seemed. And now with Samules out -- it's only going to get worse.

Good thing Cincy is coming up. Philly could be ugly.

Yes and I should have added that in there for sure. The O-Line has begun to fall apart lately and they're allowing Campbell to be killed.
