Yeah im not denying our FO made some dumb decisions but my previous post was in regards to the posters saying that Campbell was a loser and making it seem like they think hes not gonna amount to anything.

I know, I was just making the point that if the reason Campbell lost games is because the defence sucked, then the blame should be put squarely on the shoulders of the front office and Snyder. I do think Campbell is fine QB, as long as the Commanders don't ruin him by putting the hopes of the entire franchise on his shoulders and try and make him carry the team. That's what our FO did with QC and he just wasn't that type of QB. Sorry if the QC comparision insults you but I see them as kinda in the same situation lolZ.

i was in 6th grade when we drafted him. From all the game film i had acquired from his days at Tennessee I could tell he was never gonna be any good.

something I found while reading up on Quincy Carter using Wikipedia:

Carter was released on August 4 of the 2004 offseason under unclear circumstances. The field of quarterbacks for the Cowboys in that offseason had expanded with the trade for yet another former baseball player , Drew Henson, and the acquisition of Vinny Testaverde off of waivers. Before Carter's release, it had been projected that Carter had a slight edge over Testaverde for the starting spot and that former third-string quarterback, Tony Romo, would be released. Many believe Carter was released because of a failed drug test, and Cowboys coach Bill Parcells said that for reasons including but not limited to his drug problems Carter could not be trusted with the leadership of the team. The official Cowboys statement regarding his release was a failed drug test, a poor attitude over the signing of Vinny Testaverde, and an average performance during the first week of training camp.

but I wont give you this - - we played the entire season EACH TIME we won our FIVE. Skins took shortcut... it is what it is... both of those SB's have asterisks next to them

A shortcut?? Did we get to play with an extra defender or something during those 2 SB seasons? If my memory serves me right each team only lost one game during the 1987 strike shortened season anyways. ha whatever. Luckily for us you dont work for the NFL.

Even though the Commanders are my most hated team I still have to say that they are lightyears ahead of teams like the Cardinals and Lions as an organization.

Cards truly sux like the Vikings and Lions. And the Raiders for plain ol' personnel and HC ineptitude.

As memory serves me correctly, there were 27 other teams in the league at that time, all with a legit shot to go and win the Superbowl too...but we WON, we beat the teams we had to beat to win it all, it wasn't just given to us. In fact if anything, it just goes to show what a great coach Joe Gibbs was, he did more with less talent(scabs) than any other team, in fact, our scabs beat your starters one year, so I just don't understand how you can say our SB wins don't count?

Naw, just that they were cheapened, because all the teams were thrown into turmoil by the strikes...

So I'm REALLY gonna worry about the Skins, the next time the NFL has a work stoppage...
