Honestly, though - what silverbear said was tongue-in-cheek, and without any evidence or conviction, but the response (from whoever) was pretty good. Because if they suck during the time period SB laid out, and we suck worse, then they can't be the worst.

What really bugs me though is their mascot......and there needs to be a serious push to make them change it!:laugh1:

This is inexcusable, and cannot stand any longer. If the Bullets are offensive then what about the Commanders......IT IS A RACIAL SLUR!

What if they were called the D.C. Blackskins and had a picture of Amos and Andy on their helmets? You think that would still be allowed? Why shouldn't we be racially sensitive to the Native Americans?

First let me say I was surprised to see the thread. What is the reason or occasion for this Commanders-bashing party? Sure, I hate them more than you, but what started all this? Did they sign an ex-Cowboy? I know they were dumb enough to sign Smoot, who they let get because he wasn't good enough but now looks great all of a sudden. Watch his stock drop faster than a hookers panties at a bachelor's party.

As for the name, I hope they change it. If the name Bullets is negative and promotes crime then the Commanders is just plain RACIST. I think they should be called the Washington dallas-Wannabes.
