Oh wait, you want elaboration?

Okay Dorothy, here you go.

In the grand scheme of things every team has had police blotter incidents and black eyes. To deny this is flat out beyond ignorant. To try and say any one team is worse than any other is equally ignorant. There's no point system for these incidents. There is no way to quantify them. Therefore there really is no true comparison.

Until you put a point system in place it is all speculation and opinion, and in your case outright myopia. It's really quite that simple. What misdeed outranks the others? Is Carolina the worst all time because one of their players hired a murder? I don't buy that kind of nonsense. Rae Carruth is no more a reflection of the Panthers than Dexter Manley is a reflection of the Skins.

In other words teams are judged by what they do on the field, not what individuals do off the field. If you can't figure that out then I'd suggest a lobotomy. If you think for one minute that Dexter was smoking crack wearing his uniform and disgracing it then you really are as stupid as you're coming across. When he was doing those things he did not represent your team. The same holds true for every one of the other misdeeds listed in this thread and not listed. If the team didn't condone them then the team can't be judged based upon them.

You want to say because your list is longer that your opinion holds more water. That is a complete load of crap. As I pointed out there are plenty of things that never see the light of day. Ignoring this fact is the essence of myopia.

Are you going to sit there on your high horse and tell me we can't scrounge up 6 more things and make our list longer? Oh please tell me you're that naive and stupid.

It isn't about lists or pissing contests. It's about recognizing that none of us know all the facts. We know bits and pieces here and there, but that's about it.

Was that elaborate enough for you Dorothy or would like to really go to school?

But seriously, how many times does a variation of stone throwing/glass houses or hypocrisy have to be brought up for you to address the point head-on?

i will explain- only cuz its you and i'm trying to help.

a cowboy fan makes a comment, and no other cowboy fan will question it. they just jump aboard, as evidenced in the case of the list challenge.

hostile refuses to make or respond to a point, he just throws out an insult, and cowboy fans ignore it and carry on as if he did.

and this guy is your admin guy?
Do you really want to go here Dorothy?

Props where they're due: I think it's hilarious that they switch the avatars for troublemakers from other teams on their site. Not classy, no, but hilarious.

Their problem is that they're ignorant and intolerant over there, but they're not all wrong--er, except for the liking the Commanders part.

your nic is perfect, btw.

to your point- i agree to a certain extent. there are certainly degrees of bad/illegal behavior. still, if i were a cowboy fan, i would just acknowledge that mistakes have been made in the past by a large number of players and brag about the size of the trophy case. however i wouldnt call someone stupid for pointing out that the obvious fact that the cowboys organization has been synonymous with bad/illegal behavior -not only to the extent that ther was a movie about it, but that 10 years later, the organization was as famous once again for high profile players behaving badly as it was for winning super bowls.

if you feel better by referring to me as stupid by pointing this out, have at it.

You need to read the accounts of former players about Peter Gents book "North Dallas 40"... they say it was WAY over the top...

Police are investigating the shooting of a security guard at a pool party hosted by Washington Commander linebacker LaVar Arrington and Julian Peterson.

If memory serves Lavar was cleared of any connection in that incident...in other words just because he was there does not make him the one doing the shooting or a thug.

One more.... How about the owner Dan Snyder?.... He's been in the newspapers here recently. Why don't you tell the members here all about it Riggo?

Cleared yes.... But it was his party. We are talking about bad apples. So let me ask you this B Paint. The last time you had 250 of your dearest friends at a party, how many guards where shot...

Former NFL defensive back Darryll Lewis was charged Wednesday with evading police during a 30-minute chase that ended with five officers forcibly dragging him to the ground.
Lewis, 36, was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and three misdemeanors for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and possession of a smoking device.

So we started at 25 for the Bozy and 18 the deads.... that's two more for the deads... I'm sure if I kept looking, I could find more. All teams have bad apples.

youre a little late. but carry on if you like.

btw- i'm not aware that dan snyder got caught smoking crack.

So we've narrowed it down to crack. Thanks for changing the rules. I'm sure you will now go back and remove some the Cowboys off your list. The ones that didn't have anything to do with drugs. Right....

I don't have the money to have that many friends to a pool party.

But at the same time just because some nut or nuts do something like that does not mean that Lavar should be lumped in as a thug...now he may be on his own for other reasons...but that one is silly.

Would we say a student in columbine who knew one of the kids that was doing the killing a thug...just because they may have been friends?

Sorry...just don't buy that one.

You went too far with your Columbine line. You wouldn't even buy what you are selling on that one. At least I hope not.

B. Paint, if you invite someone to your house who shoots an armed guard yes I would call you a thug. Birds of a feather flog together. You should do a better job of screening and picking out your friends. Rightly or wrongly you are known by the people who are with you. Ask Ray Lewis if he still hangs out with the same crowd as he did in Atlanta. Since then, I think Ray has found religion. And rightfully so. (side bar - I think most people in America called Ray Lewis a thug when all the Atlanta stuff happend)

And as for your nut that brought the gun. Who invited that nut. Another nut if you ask me...

Everywhere you wrote Levar in your above quote, you could change it to Ray Lewis.... But at the same time just because some nut or nuts do something like that does not mean that Ray should be lumped in as a thug...now he may be on his own for other reasons...but that one is silly

How silly is that?
