My IT surperviser is a big Skins fans. And all he talks about how overrated Roy Williams is. I tried rationally explain to him one was on Roy and the other one wasn't, and Roy is classless cause of the comment he said after the game about Moss. I told him today don't ever talk about Roy being classless and your boy Sean Taylor running around holding pointing his gun. I shut him up when I told him how many times the skins been in the playoff the last 12+ plus years and he had nothing else to say

Well Roy certainly doesn't excel in coverage and at times he can get lazy in his tackling, he is still pretty darn good.

It is pretty comical to see those guys fawn over S. Taylor. Taylor is better in coverage no doubt, but he has been a victim of More big plays this year than Roy. They will never admit that though. People forget in our game against the Skins that Taylor was burned by Glenn twice in that game and if it wasn't for those late TD passes that Taylor would have been the goat. Taylor is an excellent young talent with questionable character but he is no where close to being as good as ES thinks he is.

'YOUNG' being the key word. for a guy in his second year playing with little help in the form of a pass rush, he is outstanding.

'if it wasnt for those late TD passes"....you mean the ones over roy williams? brilliant point.

yep the ones over Roy Williams...Similar to the Crayton catch last year in Dallas and the Richie Anderson pass at Fed EX last year. Both Taylor victim plays. Your point?

Stupid question but if he's such a Skins fan why did you need to point out the skins lack of playoff berths over the past 12 years? Second you can't compare Roy and Sean both are great players but isn't sean a FS and Roy a SS? BTW Sean will walk from the charges or he does jail time there is no grey area in his case if he's guilty it's automatic time I think it's 3 or 5 years and they can't even lower the charges due to the gun being involved.

it's called selective memory!! they only remember moss over roy because it was their superbowl..... don't believe me?? Watch the end of the game where they dumped gatorade on Gibbs and ol' danny boy was jumping around like a kid at Christmas.

I was at the game where Crayton, 7th or 8th round draft pick ran by Taylor, 1st round, for the winning TD.... funny thing, the cowboy players didn't dump gatorade on BP..... hmmmmm.

.......and we beat them with Testaverde!!! :lmao2:

my point is that taylor in his second year is better than williams. bringing up 2 plays from taylors rookie season while ignoring williams chokes only solidifies my point.

thanks for the avatar, btw.

I seem to remember Roy being pretty darn good his rookie year. He certainly made more game changing plays then Taylor did in his first season. Oh and please don't bring up the weak pass rush excuse. Folks at ES have been arguing for years that your front 4 is so much more talented than Dallas' front four.

Again, I am not dissing Taylor, I just find it comical how he gets a free pass when he has been the victim of several big plays this year. See LT's td run that put the game into overtime. I could name more if you wish???

you can't argue with a skins fan they think since they won that monday night game they have been competitive in the last few years...

Hey Riggo, hasn't your team lost 14 out of 16 games to the Cowboys????

how about this most cowboy fans would keep roy over getting sean.

most skins fans would keep sean over getting roy.

i have also heard fans from other teams take one over the other.but it sickens me when skins fans act like sean is head and shoulders above roy or any other top safety.

GET REAL

i dont think you'll find any skins fans praising the pass rush this year. the starting front four can stop the run- generally speaking- very well. the rush is another story.

taylor doesnt get a free pass for missing plays- not from me, anyway. i'm just pointing out that overall, i think taylor is better. williams to me is like champ bailey- he'll make a big play, then give one up a second later.

yep. but winning one out of one this year in humiliating fashion begins to make up for the other 14.
