Two things can be true:

The refs are terrible and we make terribly stupid penalties. Micah definitely gets held a lot and doesn’t get ANY calls, but he made a terribly stupid penalty by leading with a forceful elbow into Tua’s chest right after the throw. The week before Lawrence put an elbow forcefully into Allen’s chest! What happened. He also got called for Roughing the Passer. Micah was whining like a baby on the sideline. It was embarrassing! Do these guys learn from their mistakes. You cannot throw a forceful elbow into the QB’s chest right after the throw!!!! Do the coaches review the dumb as_ plays and say, “don’t do this again”.

CD Lamb lines up offsides. He needs the ref to motion him to move back. While he is moving back, another player is in motion. CD gets called for illegal motion and a positive play is negated. Again, do our guys learn from their mistakes. Players, especially defensive player have been lining up offsides all year( Fowler twice in 1 game).

Why are we NOT running the QB sneak on the 1 foot line? We are usually pretty da_ good at it. We have Dak and 2 elite guards. We try a handoff to Luepke instead. The handoff is botched. With a handoff there are more guys handling the ball. Dak is moving back not forward. The play takes longer to develope. More chance a defensive player will penetrate and blow up the play. So many reasons to just run the dang QB sneak! Late in the 4th quarter we are again on the 1 foot long. Do we learn from our mistake earlier and run the QB sneak? No, we run the DUMBEST PLAY OF THE YEAR. A play action pass from the 1 foot line. Our backup tackle who has been missing blocks all game let’s the DE run right past him and sack Dak for a 9 yard lose!!!( It took GREAT plays by Dak and Cooks to get the TD). Whiners with Steve Young and the Patriots with Brady almost always ran the QB sneak on 3rd or 4th and a foot. They had 2 of the best offenses in football and they did not get cute or fancy. They ran the basic QB sneak and were successful over 90% of the time!!! Philly is even more successful with the Tush Push. Run the dam QB sneak on 3rd or 4th and a foot!!!!!!

I thought all in all the D played pretty darn good. They held arguably the best offense in football to 22 points and forced them to kick mostly long FG’s. BUT when the game was on the line, and our Offense, finally gave us the lead, the defense was pathetic. Miami went straight down the field passing and running. Our D allowed them to kick a chip shot FG, while also running out the clock. Again, overall good D, but PATHETIC when we needed them the most.

Our Offense, including Dak struggled throughout the game, especially in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. We made some big plays, but everything seemed hard. Fangio’s scheme( mostly zone ) and talented defense made things hard for the O to figure out. Dak and the Offense did suck it up at the end of the game. They had a very hard fought drive to finally take the lead. The Offense does deserve credit for continuing to fight on under tough circumstances. I am worried about Dak playing against good zone defenses.

The Coaches: Today they had us ready to play. They had a good game plan and it was working well early in the game. Without the fumble we have a commanding lead. BUT our coaches did not adjust NEAR as well, as the Miami coaches. Our offense struggled mightily in the 2nd and 3rd quarter. They had 2 safeties deep an we were not able to exploit it with our run game. OUR RUN SCHEME is too basic! We had a misdirection run where we had one receiver in motion to the right and one going to the left. We handed the ball up the middle. Do to the misdirection Pollard had a huge hole. It was a well designed misdirection run. We do not have enough misdirection runs in our play book like this!! To many basic runs inside the tackles with very little misdirection.

Dan Quinn was slow to adjust, to Miami’s adjustments. We were having success early covering their receivers in zone, so Miami’s coach started using their TE’s over the middle. On most plays their TE’s were wide open. Took Quinn to long to adjust to this adjustment by the Miami coach.

Lamb is a stud but we still need to spread the ball around.

I think we will win our next 2 games and Philly will lose once to the Giants. We will win the NFC East and be the 2nd seed. IF, we play up to our potential and don’t make to many stupid mistakes AND run the dam QB sneak on 3rd/4th and a foot, we can win 2 playoff games at home. Hopefully, someone will knock of the Whiners before we have to play them.

We are a very flawed team, but still the 2nd best team in the NFC.

Annual December collapse right on time. Early playoff exit coming soon.
Before this season Cowboys are16-5 in December since 2018. Don’t know nor care where you’re getting a December collapse from but you’re wrong. We haven’t had one in a while. Another myth stated as ‘fact’ by a cowboys zone member.

You are correct since 2018, but this year we have shown signs of collapsing in December. The Buffalo game was a train wreck and we follow it up with a disappointing defeat to the Dolphins. This being said, I still think we are the 2nd best team in the NFC. A very flawed 2nd best team!

The Dolphin game was predictable based on past team performances.

But now they likely rebound at home and score enough points against the Lions.
I would hope they follow up that with a road victory against the Commanders but that game will most likely be Rivera's swan song as their HC so Dallas might get a very strong performance from the Commanders. They beat Dallas last year in the finale but as for this year I would hope still a victory though.

Mayfield has looked decent for Tampa the last few games as the probable WC matchup for Dallas.
Not sure Tampa has enough defense to stop Dallas offense though.
I know, it is on the road.
And on grass.
Toss up for me but I'll keep the chains moving and pick the Boys.

Then the inevitable SF matchup finally illustrates the 49ers mental and physical superiority to this team and further exposes how the HC and QB are 2 of the primary reasons why.

Follow it up with both a Dak and McCarthy extension and let's all just run it back and toast cheers to team wild card ceilings.

Salud!

CeeDee checked with the ref and the ref motioned for him to move back. So he did and then reset.
I wonder if that is taken into account in the play call. Because the penalty committed is a complicated one that would be hard to avoid in that situation

Since January 1996 Dallas has not been to an NFC Championship game!!!! This is a monumental collapse by this organization’s standards. Ever since Jimmy left our team has been below average, if your expectations are to win a Super Bowl AT LEAST 1 out of 32 years. We are quickly running out of time.

Problem: Jerry is content with the show!! He has admitted this. Recently we are a player or 2 away from doing damage in the playoffs and he does not make the move. We needed a Bobby Wagner type LBer this year. We should have over paid a little to get him!
In this era teams have been making moves to put them over the top. The Buccaneers the Rams and now the hated Whiners. The Whiners were going to be hard to beat anyway and they went out and got, not 1, but 2 legitimate pass rushers. We could use a pass rusher opposite Micah!

It was his back. Please be accurate as much as you demand each and every player on every play is.

Doubling down on your stupidity, do you even review your rants before posting them?

CD did exactly what he is supposed to do, check with official to be sure he is not offsides.

I know you believe that you are perfect and no mistakes ever happen in your life, that was just a fluke penalty, though I think he was set before motion started. Hardly worth the weight your trying to put on it.

The handoff is botched.
Had he not botched it Purple scores with ease. Using your logic the QB should never pass or handoff just keep it and run. Heck even that requires 2 people to handle the ball. Let's just do center keeps all game long only one person has to handle the ball then.

Amari was getting paid to much. Amari never had the will to win that CD has.

Hopefully, CD will learn from his mistake and never line up offsides again. It is not complicated!
Do you imagine the procedure put in place by the NFL to have wr check with official to ensure they are not offsides was done because it is not complicated and so rarely happens there is no need for it? Or is it possible that the further you get wise the more likely it is you could easily be off sides a bit? Remember the blue line you see on TV is not there for players to see.

CD was almost 2 feet offsides. You get paid millions of dollars to play football. Practice it a thousand times if you need to, but don’t be offsides during a game, period!

I stand corrected Micah’s forceful elbow was into Tua’s back, but this does not change my point. You cannot throw a forceful elbow at a QB’s upper body right after they throw the ball.

You think what Lawrence and Micah did in back to back games were not penalties? Get your stupid rose colored glasses off if you think those elbows were not penalties.
We make to many dumb penalties. If you don’t see it that’s on you, Mr. my team is perfect and makes no dumb mistakes.

When on the 1 foot line some of the most successful teams in NFL history almost always ran the QB sneak just ask Steve Young and Tom Brady. Going play action on 1st down with a backup left tackle was not smart. You think it was smart though?

So no interaction with you clearly making 2 mistakes on Micah penalty just more demands others be perfect? Seems legit.

In you're haste to demand perfection you again make the mistake of missing the play. The play discussed in my comment was the fumble by Lupke (which auto correct changed to purple somehow) not the play action pass, which btw I thought was a bad play call.
