Meh, it was probably a class B misdemeanor. He'd get the same for adultery, loitering, unlawfull assembly or showing his tallywacker in public.

I don't recall posting much in the past about Goodell's level of punishment. I know I've agreed with him at times.

I also don't recall pissing in your cornflakes this morning.

Simmer down, Alice.

Yes, a salty, yet acidic taste would certainly put a damper on any corn-flake lover's morning.

Committing a hit and run isn't good whether he's a football player or a private citizen just like us. It's against the law to knowlingly hit someone with your car and then leave the scene; allowing it to drag on & fail to cooperate as a stain on the NFL. Lynch & the NFL should have been darn glad the woman wasn't seriously hurt. I'm surprised he didn't get a warning, fined & ordered to attend an alchoholic treatment program if alchohol was involved.

He doesn't have any AUTHORITY to do anything, when the conviction is a misdemeanor traffic charge... perhaps if you have a problem with this whole thing, you ought to take it up with the judicial system up in Buffalo; they're the ones who decided on the charges filed...

What are you talking about? Chris Henry's latest charges got thrown out completely. But he has been suspended indefinitely. Pacman Jones got nothing more than a misdemeanor for the nightclub incident and he was suspended for an entire season.

You do understand that Goodell has the right to suspend players, regardless of how it turns out in court, don't you? Apparently not -- go back to sleep bear.
