Teams that haven't signed anyone, in FA yet.

Dallas - Zach and Flo don't count, since they signed before FA started
New England
Indy
San Diego
Seattle - Wahle doesn't count since he signed before FA started
New York Giants
Green Bay
Pittsburgh

all made the playoffs. I know some other playoff teams have made 1 or two moves, but the majority of FA moves have been by non-playoff teams.

So signing a free agent before free agency begins doesn't count now?

duh! because they have more needs and are willing to overpay players. Overpaying for players in FA is inevitable.

Technically, no. No one was a free agent until 29 Feb, meaning they could sign with any team. I know they are all listed as FA's but if they were in fact, "free" they could sign with any team as soon as the SB ended. So to me, the "real" FA period started 29 Feb.

Green Bay, Indy and Pittsburgh never do anything in FA so get rid of them.

San Diego has zero cap room and no free agents would upgrade any position on their team.

The Patriots also have zero cap room.

Seattle made BIG moves last off-season.

We made BIG moves last off-season.

You're theory is full of stupidity.

Ill let him pass on signing flo because it was a re-sign. But thomas is as much a FA signing as you could get.

It is and it isn't;). Since Zach was released instead of his contract being up he's a different class of free agent.

zach was a FA, and flo was a UFA, how does either of them not constitute FA signings?

Because it doesn't fit with his opinion :D

Flo was not a UFA, he was in the last year of his contract until Feb 28 11 PM.

Zach was not technically a UFA, he was just a SFA (street FA). A player that was released, not a player that had a contract expire.

Since FA began on Feb 28 11 PM None of those teams above have signed a FA. trying to be technical, absolves the whole point of this thread, and really ruins a great point.

dargonking, breakin' out the good points

it's pretty simple actually, the teams w/ the most holes to fill, tend to be the most active in free agency
