saw a breakdown of fleming play and he did well.
hurns got hurt last 2 years but he is not hurt now.
we added austin, hurns and gallup.
if wr get double coverage, zeke runs free.
furthermore, austin can impact game and free up zeke without catching a pass on various sweeps where he can get a handoff or be a decoy.

I like your optimism but none of hurns, Austin, Gallup, brown has done anything in the last 2 years at this level. The excuses can be a plenty but things haven't worked out for them yet. Since 2014 our receivers production has steadily gone down and if Dak is still needing college separation or the 4+ seconds of 2016 to progress through reads were in trouble. Maybe these wr step up or maybe more excuses. Hard to say since the starters played very little this offseasoff. Gonna be trial by fire real quick.

This was actually really eye opening, as I did understand the turnover was very apparent.

This concerns me because this team has a hard time handling, both, turnover and adversity. Sheesh - that visual really doesn't make me feel great about this season.

wr output declined because dez and witten declined.
dak stats showed he actually did very well against tight coverage.
we have a highpoint receiver to grab the ball in rico, who i believe will do it better than prime dez.
we have wrs that will get better separation due to improved route running.
i dont care about excuses, and i expect 12 wins.

i may take a couple weeks for irving to come back in shape.
he was suspended for 4 games last year also and he came back a monster.
well richard is the passing defensive coach so we shall see.

It may take awhile for Irving to become a significant contributor this season. He's missing more than just the first 4 games this season. He missed the last 4 games of 2017. He had no OTAs, no TC, no preseason games, and he's going to miss the first 4 games this season.

right, i expect cowboys in the 2nd half of the season to be significant better than 1st half.

we do have a much better WR Coach. & DB Coach. But JG & Linehan will kill us.
JG should coach the QBs. If I were Jerry, I would make him. Then there is no one else to blame if it fails. If it works, then JG is due credit. But I need to see JG be accountable. Throw this task squarely on JGs shoulders. It's a test to see what his coaching skills really are.. Then we all know for sure.

Wasn't just dez an wit. Every receiver declined, every one on this roster. And technically witts receptions went up and his ave yards per catch only went down by 1 yard. Hurns played ok in preseason but nothing that made me think he will be great. I hope Gallup doesn't end up with the butler treatment.

Defense will be better, offense will be worse, but due to concerns of the O-line's injuries, this team will win 7-8 games if the O-line is hurt (Smith, Martin, TFred). If the O line was healthy, I was thinking we get 9-10 wins.

this team is better than 2017 right now and will be better than 2016 by middle of the season. 12 wins to me.

OK. What about this? Since Safety is a need, why can't the Boys move a CB to that position. Perhaps there was a CB that played well for them, but they could not keep. Thoughts?
They moved Byron Jones back to his natural position at CB, which I think is best for him. Why can't they do this again with another player that they liked but couldn't keep? Then, when injured Safeties return, it would give them options.

oh yes, the Panthers will give them trial by fire immediately. The Panthers may/may not win a lot of games, but teams that play them are completely black and blue (no pun intended) when they leave the stadium. They are extremely physically tough. That is why the playcalling is extremely important when preparing for them. And Cam is big and bad.

i think improving the pass rush was the best way we actually helped the safeties.
