Fact with Rush at QB Dallas was ranked 29th in 3rd down conversions, with Dak back in the lineup Cowboys are now 11th in the NFL with 41% and 60% over the last 3 games. I like the job Rush did but the fact is the offense all too often stalled out and forced to punt. Defense was a big key for this team. Dak moves this team we convert 3rd down at a much higher rate which in turn keeps drives going. People want to argue this fine you don't like Dak again fine, I'm done trying to convince those who refuse to see for themselves.

I see numbers that can't be scores, and I have no idea what it is.
it's rankings in the league brother not scores...with Rush we were ranked Top 4 in Turnovers and now with Dak and more risk taking it's gone down to 11...although with week 1 moving to the right side some of these numbers will change

how much credit are you giving the timing, practise reps, preparations, OTA reps, mini camp reps and TC reps to Dak for this? IF anything we should applaud Rush who literally won the job splitting reps with Will Grier and still being able to be productive in this offense with little work in the summer - so much little work he was looking to be replaced.

can someone re-do this with week 1 on the right side - it really makes a big difference and I want to see the real chart
Makes little difference, if you need chart to show we are so much better in points scored, 3rd down%, and have many more big plays, you aren't paying attention. We went from barely getting to 20 points, bottom 10 to top 10 in offense. so from 20 to 36 PPG,..need any more evidence?

Rush got pre season action, Dak didn't. Fact is the offense was not moving, we would put together 1 or 2 drives in a game any 3rd down and we were not covering. Maybe that means little to you but I see 3rd down conversion as a big deal because the drive continues. I like how Rush handled himself took few risk and relied on the defense. Dak is much more talented and this offense produces with him in the lineup. You feel different well you are allowed to feel however you choose. As for Rush winning the job? lol god people here were hollering how we needed a real backup and how Rush sucked but now we have the rush fan club ready to bench a starting QB? lol

Yeah, those that wanted to keep Rush as the starting QB are basically clueless or simply have an agenda. I really appreciate and applaud Rush for playing well enough to win 4 games and save the season, but we are so much better offensively with Dak. Numbers do not lie regardless of agendas.

Change title of thread to "Comparison of Offense Week 1-6 vs. Week 7-11" and that chart is accurate.

True and we appreciate it but all those posts about,

"Rush is better suited for this offense" crowd, have no argument.

Ironic they ignored a 10-16 106 yard rams game with 2 fumbles and then the eagles game 3 INts , Washington game got lucky on 2 INTS being called back ete its not like he played perfect, yet Dak has to play perfect or they blame him for losses that are clearly on the defenses or "other"

real fans no Dak is clearly better.
I don’t even know where the chart is from. If Daks column is on the right then look at the stats from just the game yesterday. His stats from that game alone was better than that whole chart. Was against a 8-1 team. Say they were over hyped if you want but didn’t they beat the bills.

So, you fail to consider the strength of the opponents Rush faced vs the opponents Dak faced.
Hmm, let's see. The Cowboys have played both teams (the only teams) that started 8-1, on the road. Rush faced the Eagles, Dak faced the Vikings. Shall we compare?
You also fail to consider Rush's limited experience vs Dak's six years.
I don't understand this point, You're the one who's spent the entire season arguing that Rush is better, right now, than Dak. Are you now saying that's not true?
You also fail to consider the coaches restriction of the offense bexause of Rush’s limited experience.
You fail to consider that the coaches restricted the offense because of his limited ability, not experience. We saw what happened when they needed him to do more, in the Eagles game.
But, I wouldn't expect an honest take from Dak fans,Who also fail to consider the SIX YEARS OF FRUSTRATIONS COWBOYS' FANS HAVE BEEN FORCED TO ENDURE WHEN DAK CHOKES!
Oh yes, you're the king of the "honest take" around here.
