Complete WR revamp

Just a little disappointed that we didn't get a chance to see much of Switz in the receiving game. I thoufgt something was up when we traded a 6'th for Tavon. Thought it would be Bease though

You were arguing that Williams and Beasley needed to go after Dez.

They are still on the roster.

IMO Williams should be nervous. Brown is likely safe because the FO likes him as a project. Dak loves Beasley so do not see anything happening with Cole.

Starting 3 Hurns, Gallup and Beasley? Bring in Austin for 4 WR sets. Zeke in the backfield.

All the WRs need to gel quickly with each other and Dak!

Austin is going to be used as a RB ala Dunbar and I think they will/should try to get Brown to bulk up and play H-back/TE. He pretty much did that last year.

Switz was my guy man. This sucks. Did not see this coming. It would have helped if we got someone decent in return. But nope. Everything I've read is Ward has been really bad

I thought exactly the same. A significantly undersized guy with slow speed.

Last season he had several brain-farts in punt returns.
I figured his return skills were the reason we drafted Switzer and after the bone headed special team plays last season I guess they figured Jon Gruden can take on the headache in return for a 2nd round DT with potential.

Watch and see what Switzer does when the raiders actually play him.

I bet most on here will be complaining that we traded Switzer but the end of the season
I like Switzer I think he is going to be a great player, we should have kept him, Jon Gruden's going to use the hell out of them

He was injured. Just how we like them

We don't throw it a ton anyway.

Guys like Switzer are a dime a dozen.

Austin is putting no one on notice.

He's being brought in as a back.

He's washed out as a receiver.
So you don’t think this had any influence at all on the Switzer move? Go look at the WR depth chart now. Austin,TX is on it,and Switzerland is not. It’s a WR unit rebuild, which is the whole context of my conversation points. I’m focusing on the whole of each positional depth chart,in relation to “rebuild” not the specificity of each player. That’s how the team and Stephen is looking at it. He’s flipping units...

Oh I know. By the end of the season I'm willing to bet we have folks complain about trading him away
