Complete WR revamp

I like Switzer I think he is going to be a great player, we should have kept him, Jon Gruden's going to use the hell out of them

I would gladly swap out Switzer for Tavon Austin. Gladly without thinking twice. The DT from the raiders I know nothing about. He has to suck.

With all these new WR's Switzer is obsolete. And Austin will be the return guy now. A proven one.

A proven fumbler not only that Switzer in limited action averaged over twice as many yards per catch then Austin. Switzer is the better receiver then Austin and it's not close

glad he's gone, I would have cut him (physically, even) after the Rams game

New WR coach, new QB coach, new receivers.

That’s exactly what he’s here for. To take over that role. And it’s an expendable position for Dallas. That’s really how they’ve viewed the return game for quite a long time now. Harris was the last good guy I think, and even him they didn’t keep around. Which I felt a mistake at the time, and still do,thought we left ourselves out to dry on that one. It’s been a rocky road since back there trying to find guys. But I have zero issue with any of the overhaul to the WR corp. I was all for it,and knew it was coming. A couple years ago? No....but after they made the secondary flip, even at their own expense? Oh yeah....the writing was on the wall, they were rebuilding. I love it...It’s exciting, and a surprising new way of doing business in Dallas. It’s a good thing, even if sometimes singular moves are not always the best decision, because they’re not going to stick with it like the way of old.

I am very very impressed with what they did this offseason. On a lower standard curve, but it shows me things are changing in Dallas.

Nearly all the offensive skill positions have been overhauled the last 2-3 years. Assuming Witten is gone then all that remains is Beasley and Williams.

Yeah...I’m not on board with all decisions or moves,(a lot really loool) but overall this is about what’s best for the franchise. I would not like going back to old management style. No thank you with a capital S... ”Sur”

Folks will see that trading Switzer was a terrible move, especially for Ward.

Ward was the 44th pick of 2016, and excelled at the Senior Bowl when coached by Marinelli. DT, a position of need.

Meanwhile, Switzer was a 4th round pick and had 40 yards receiving. WR, where we have to cut players anyway.

Great trade. We got something we needed for little that we could use.

Like I said before getting Ward isn't the problem. Trading a young, cheap good receiver when bums are still at the position is what I disagree with

I thought exactly the same. A significantly undersized guy with slow speed.

Last season he had several brain-farts in punt returns.
Yep. We jettisoned Switzer early. Normally you give rooks 3 yrs to prove themselves either way but.... Switzer just seems to have bum potential.

Man... For some reason I still think one or two of these WRs will be shipped to Seattle for ET.

It could just be gas though.

I won't bring you down brother. Could be bad burritos or lucky charms who knows. Certainly have a boat load, treasure trove, truckload of WR's and only 3 safeties. Could be a safety out there somewhere yet, Draft is over. Everything settled except for Witt. Pause and reflect then get 'er done
