Here's a really funky one.

The Battle of New Orleans was fought after the war was already over!!!!!!

A couple weeks before, the leaders had met and signed a treaty ending the war. However, communication was spotty at best at the time.

Found out my Grandfather was a Professional Dancer for Eddie Cantor.

My Father met my Mother dancing at a USO during WW2

I met my wife dancing at a club in Hawaii.

I told my 2 sons " You 2 will be good dancers".

All mammals are born with the innate ability to swim. Deer, dogs, Guinea pigs, real pigs… all strong swimmers right out of the womb. Well, all mammals but apes. They will all drown unless taught; humans, chimpanzees, and Orangutans have been shown to be capable.

Gorillas are unknown, but since no documentation of humans teaching one exists, it is theorized that no Gorilla has ever successfully swam (they don’t live near oceans, and have never been seen in deep water).

Additionally, giraffes are theorized to be possibly able to swim, though not very well. They also have never been seen in deep water, and their body shape puts their success into question.

Ted Cassidy played the role of the Gorn on the "infamous" Star Trek episode... Arena
You might ask, Who is Ted Cassidy?
Lurch from the Adams Family
&
I always liked the fact that the Adams named their daughter Wednesday
Because, per the nursey rhyme, "Wednesday's child is full of woe"

One of the most famous Star Trek cameos; but maybe not the most famous….
