computer question

I have Vista....and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to tile my desktop wallpaper. With all the other OS I had in the past, I could tile if my background pic was too small to stand on its own. However, with Vista, I cannot even find the option to tile.

Can someone please give me some assistance with this matter? Thank you in advance.

how do i do that. I am the owner of the computer.

no need to be so harsh or abusive. i am not a computer person. all i know how to do is mess them up.

and yes, unfortunately my account is setup as an admin. i tried to change it, but it would not let me. i have a feeling if it were set up for the other setting, then i would be able to use my other functions.


also, one other situation with my computer. i have some sort of blue screen saver. after i stop typing for about 10-15 minutes, my monitor goes black, then blue (with some long computer speak and error message i believe), then black, then blue, then black, then blue.....it is quite annoying. I have tried searching my various drives for this so called screen saver, but I have yet to be able to find it. it has been doing this for quite some time now and is very annoying.

Admin is the highest account setting so there is no need to change it. All I can think of is that vista basic won't allow you to tile wallpaper. I don't have a computer with vista basic at home. I can check on that tomorrow at work and let you know for sure.

lol, what the hell?

right-click on your desktop, click on "Properties", click on "Screen Saver", in the "Screen Saver" drop-down menu click on "none" and hit OK

mine doesnt do that....i know how to set a screensaver....this thing is a system error or maybe even a bug of some sort. besides......i have tried the right click thing, but properties isnt one of the options...vista is different than the others.

My first thought would be to turn off the screensaver and turn off the power save features.
