Short and sweet:

If the Cowboys re-sign Hatcher to a 2 or 3 year deal, do you believe the team would pass on Aaron Donald (assuming he's on the board at #16) in the draft?

I think it would be a monumental mistake and I can see it happening.

Hatcher is not being resigned.

We are in cap hell right now.

Again, Hatcher gave us a good year last year..

but we can't make the same mistake of overpaying a player who hasn't done much prior.

I agree with not re-signing Hatcher, but the salary cap will be up to $133 million. The Cowboys will have the ability to do what they want after they cut Austin and figure out Ware's situation.

I can as well. This team has a one track mind for some reason. We fill one hole and think we are set. We don't worry about depth, or development, unless its at the safety position and even then we select too many 5th-7th round projects.

We thought we were fine on the Dline last year and got burned, big time! If we stick with Hatch, and we pass on Arnold I will be sick. Now if he's not there, that's fine, but we cannot afford to think we are outsmarting anybody. In the words of Galloway, Jerry and JG are football idiots!

Really?

I've thought our drafts have been good the last couple of years.

Jerrah and Garrett have gotten it right.

Probably will again this draft.

So I realize Jerrah has his weaknesses..

..but give him credit somewhere since he writes the checks.

Garrett has gotten nothing right except perfecting 8-8. Did you watch football last year and the Dline play? Are you trying to tell me Jerry and JG have done well in the draft?? Please. They are merely pawns for the guys out there that really work.
