It’s ironic that so many here hate on LVE and Brown but losing those two plus Hankins has hurt this D...simply not the same.

They didn’t give up 34 they gave up 27. It’s bad but they also gifted the offense four extra possessions off turnovers, let that sink in before you blame it on a defense that we don’t invest in. They are banged up and that’s why we should have invested in quality backups.

Beat me to the punch. Anyone saying they gave up 34 makes me think there is an agenda going on. The defense hasn't been all world like it was to start the season but giving your own offense a short field after a turnover is very valuable. If you take away points off turnovers today, Dallas loses 27-20 and everyone is *****ing about the offense.

Getting some people healthy would definitely help. Overall the team has an issue at DT that hopefully gets addressed in the offseason. The situation isn't great but its not as terrible as some portray.

They have two weeks to fix the issue, before we play who is most likely going to be Brady in the playoffs.

The defense has not been the same the last 3 games.

vs MIN + NYG + IND = 13 sacks, 571yds passing; 89.6yds rushing avg
vs HOU + JAX + PHI = 1 sacks, 886yds passing; 131yds rushing avg

I think the losses in the 2ndary (Lewis & Brown) are starting to show. They weren't super stars but they were "good enough"

Losing Hankins & LVE didn't help against the run either.

I agree with you. I was thinking the same thing. The other team is playing their backup QB, and they are marching it up and down the field as they please. This supposed big time defense can't even get a stop and make them punt. Minus takeaways that you cant count on every week, Dak is going to have to be near perfect and put up 40 plus points to win any games now. How did we get here from a defense that used to allow 14-15-16 points a game every week. Hope Dak is up for it every week.

No he wouldn’t have, Minshew was actually on fire with his accurate passing. Hurts wouldn’t have made many of those throws. He would have more rushing yards but that’s all. How was Hurts performance in the first game? He was very average and 3 INT by Rush saved his butt. This Eagles team is flawed, there schedule has masked their deficiencies.

I'm just hoping Big Mike steps in and authorises a switch to a 3-4 base Def. Not only to get the best out of Parsons as an OLB but to stop the run. Our 2 main problems are stopping the run and finding the best position for Micah. A 3-4 Def would help.
