Its worth noting that Cowboys viewed him as the best tight end in the draft and our draft gurus said our board was wrong. There's something they saw that warranted him to be higher than Kincade and Mayer.

Makes me wonder though what this offense would be like with him and Ferg and would they do more double tight end stuff.

Would love to have both. Laporte is legit. But so is Ferguson. We have one of the best young TE in the game. He is a legit weapon, that is just scratching the surface. So is LaPorta. We need to get our front seven on Defense loaded up.

Purdy hasn't looked very Purdy in the playoffs. That's what happens when you're not the reason your team has won enough games to get you to this position. The 49ers are here because of their running game, and defense not QB play. It remains to be seen if there weak link Purdy cost them a chance to go to the Super Bowl, or even win it.
