Honestly, if the Chiefs gets Mahomes a receiver again. He probably wins at least 5 Superbowls when his career is over.
Rice is an outstanding receiver. Got better as the year went on.

Just a crushing loss for the Lions. That organization may never get that chance again at a Super Bowl. They were just a few inches away from the finish line and just completely melted down.

Blame that buffoon coach of theirs. You never ever turn down a FG when it puts you up by another score.

Second reason is psychological. The 49ers are being beat down. They get a FG to start the second half and the Lions drive right down the field. This is where you match their FG and let the 49ers know that halfway through the 3rd they gained no ground.

Not be a dunce and go for it on 4th and give the 49ers all of the momentum. Now the 49ers gained ground, and if they score again, they're only down by one score. There's taking risks, and there's being stupid.

who else ?
without CMC the 49ers aren’t in the Super Bowl. He is probably the best trade the league has had in the past 10 years. He was that important for that offense, so important he has now overshadowed Samuel.

Or better yet, do away with the MVP award if the award still goes to a QB in a year where QB play was uninspiring league wide. Just rename it to the Quarterback of the Year award and be done with it.

Neither is 10 points. ;)
Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
That wasn't my point. My point was teams that make dumb mistakes in playoff games usually lose. Baltimore was the less disciplined team yesterday, in a close defensive battle. KC did not score a point in the 2nd half. Their defense won that game.

The really interesting thing about that statement is that KC's defense did that against a team noted for their tremendous defense. Before the game was played, I was expecting Baltimore to go to the Super Bowl, led by their great defense.
But instead, KC is going, after a strong defensive showing against the Ravens.

And this is why trolls shouldn't be allowed to pollute great football forum boards with frivolous BS takes.

I've read posts where people have called a certain quarterback a bum, below average, trash, not top 10....

But then multiple NFL coaches, GMs, scouts and executives, and even former and current players have said that the quarterback "Dak" is top ten. This is coming from people who are paid millions to pick, coach and evaluate NFL talent.

Now who should we believe when it comes to evaluating NFL talent..... should we believe NFL coaches, GMs, scouts, current and former players, who have All dedicated their lives to have these careers??? Or should we believe a few trolls that make 10 dollars an hour and those who support the trolls uneducated statements, with ZERO experience in evaluating NFL talent at any level......

I'm waiting for any of our resident "know-it-alls" to sit here and try justify how they think they know more about evaluating NFL quarterback talent than people who are paid millions to coach, scout and pick the talent.

I'll wait.....

Yep all that money they make and they choose Taco Charlton over TJ Watt. Sounds like they just know everything.

Comparing draft picks to veteran players is not even a close comparison. Nice try though.

Yep they do. They know a thousand percent more about evaluating NFL talent than you or I will ever know. Because all the money they make, they chose Zach Martin or Travis Frederick over Johnny Manzel....

You're right. Sounds like they know everything.....

The better question is, which GM, scout or coach do you think you know more about evaluating NFL talent than?? I'll give you the answer..... Absolutely none of them.

You really shouldn't use that example. TJ Watt was the clear choice over Taco. A 6th grader following football would make that choice. Johnny football was not. He was a 1st read QB that broke the pocket every time it wasn't there. Everybody saw this, yet someone picked him 22nd overall.

I'm not going to claim I can evaluate talent better than those that make it their job. That would be silly. But these so called experts are like weathermen, they are wrong a lot.

That is true. But do you really respect any fan or troll here that claim they know more about evaluating football talent then those GMs, coaches, scouts, former and current players?

The reason I ask.... you'll have those previously mentioned NFL professionals all over the league say a certain player is a top 7 to 10 player at their position.

Then you'll have some people on this board that will say, said player is a bum, not top 10, below average, etc....

Whose word holds more credibility in your mind, NFL professionals or some random TV repair guy who hangs on the Cowboys fan forum?

I'll respectfully wait.....

I agree with you. I just think a lot of that is emotion driven. If they don't like someone for whatever reason, they're never going to put them in a top anything. Who just recently didn't put Diggs in the top 10 at his position? What were they watching?
