FEATURED Conference Championship Game Thread

Should’ve kicked the FG from the 30 with 1:40ish left and 3 TOs. Wouldn’t have to get the onside kick. Just needed to hold SF.

A coach that relies on instinct is good for a team, it instills confidence in the players. But when the game is getting away, you gotta know when to concede to what is best for not giving the game away. The game in Dallas basically cost them the #1 seed and now this.
Couldn’t agree more. I appreciate coaches who are aggressive and trust the players. But sometimes you gotta make the business decision and have the pulse of the team.

This league stinks. I mean Dan Campbell went out of his way to give his jinxed franchise another gut wrenching loss. If he simply kicks the FG up 24-10- none of this likely happens.
Revisionist history. Up 14 he's looking to slay the giant. They just didn't execute. The second 4th attempt was just bad.

Trust your defense and use your timeouts, don't onside kick it. If you do you are going to have horrible field position.

Edit: Nevermind I thought they had 3 timeouts.

Yeah this isn't good for anybody. SF got bailed out. Just like in our game, I won't complain, when the coach gives it to you, but this is for the SUPER BOWL?! How can not cooler minds prevail here and just take the points?

Dan Campbell envisions people saying "Wow look at the pair he has on him to be going for this." And is more concerned with putting a Macho persona than he is if giving his team the best chance to win football games.
