Maybe Ms. Earhart-Savell wrestled with him over the gun and shot him in the gut, he then shoots her and then himself in the head.

Since he was committing suicide, it is likely the 1st shot did not kill him.
So there is where the 2nd shot comes in. Nothing at all fishy about that.

If there is gunpowder residue on his hands it would tell them he pulled the trigger.
Or are you suggesting the gun was placed in his hand for the last shot? They could tell if there had been a struggle and if that shot was post mortem. Someone would have to wait until he was literally on his last breath to do that to him and it not be called into question.

1. More then one shot in a suicide is not common but does happen. When it does, alot of time the first shot is in the body. Its harder in real life to hit some thing quickly fatal then on TV ie...I know of a case in vermont where a woman shot herself 5 times.
2. The reconstruction takes in account all the physical evidence such as
Bloodspatter -scene conditions -GSR (which is not commonly used in suicides
because the persons(victims) hand is likely to test postive.
3. It is possible to sequence shots and deterime which come first. And last
it is very difficult to stage a scene and make it look like something its not
But feel free to speculate
I know. That's why I pointed out "post mortem" (which means after life has ceased) wounds. They can tell a difference.jterrell;2110317 said:You can kill someone then place the gun in their hands and have them fire it.
This guy made serious enemies but he wanted fame and was talking book deals and interview circuits. His actions, emails, radio interviews were just not consistent with a guy considering suicide. It is certainly not impossible but the guy made powerful enemies including the police departments in the area.
And a gunshot to the gut is as painful as it gets. Why would anyone do that then shoot themselves in the head. I have never heard of that happening even once.
It would make much more sense if the gut shot was accidental or came about in a struggle with the g/f who was obviously a strong girl herself.
The second I read his interview that stated 5 local police departments had officers buying from him I suspected he was in grave danger. You do not do dirt with cops then decide to snitch on them period.
