The Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors messed over Pearson for decades. Pearson built up a ton of pent up resentment and rightfully so.

That was the past. Now is the present. The BoS finally did the right thing. So. How did Pearson react?

Answer: with class

Within the personal humility category, Pearson stands head-and-shoulders above any prior Hall of Famers who lack that inner quality.

The thing i remember about Drew is how tough and durable he was for being very slightly built, thin legs. He used to joke that he didn't worry about pulling a hamstring because he didn't have any. But boy he was big time and came up with big plays in his career. If any one deserves to be in the HOF, its the original 88. Congrats Drew. shot of tequila for you.

I had the opportunity to meet him as a player, and a business man. Clutch player and class individual.
