New England had 165 more yards and 11 more 1st downs than Buffalo. The turnover differential was even. The Pats weren't outplayed in the least.
Oakland, on the other hand, did outgain San Diego by 49 yards. But they lost the turnover battle, and their QB was (is) awful.
NE was doing nothing until the end of the game when they made that crazy comeback. Teams tend to pile up yardage when behind late.
If Buffalo's McKelvin uses his brain Buffalo wins that game. NE was trailing 24-10 in the 4th quarter.
