First, it's couldn't care less.

Second, the point of raising the likes was to rebute your comment that no one cares. People DO care what he writes, which is why they "liked" his comment. Thus, your opinion is in error and isn't back up by observable facts.

Apparently, your panties are in a wad based on your defensiveness.

Excusing bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior. A very trite diversionary tactic.

No, it doesn't. It simply requires someone typing "shut up." :)

See, you have moments of maturity also, as we all do. :)

I always struggled in grammar in school. I'll make a note of your correction for the next time I have to labor through reading more of your little hissy fits.

I guess some people care about what he has to say.....all of four of them the last time I looked. Making a mountain out of a molehill always seems to garner some attention I guess.

Diversionary tactics? Where were you when the thousands of other remarks on this forum about men were typed? Now what I said has you and one other guy on here up in arms?

Get on your high horse and go lecture someone else. Take your double standard with you while your at it.

Because looks are all that matter in a relationship.

Keep on keeping on, tough guy.

Hahaha. He never said looks are all that matter. We don't know anything about Miles' wife aside from what she looks like in a pic that was posted here, so he commented on her looks. If you were offended then that's your problem, not his. Did you REALLY need to have it spelled out for you that he was only commenting on looks?

The Oscars were just on TV and that means tons of females watched among themselves with the same excitement that we watch football games. Did you know that one of their favorite pastimes is to judge the looks of nearly every single person that appears on camera? I know my girlfriend does. Hell, I know guys who do too. So go chastise anyone you know who watched the Oscars and made any negative comment about how anyone looked, then come back and police any and all comments regarding looks.

Thank you for laying the smack down. :)

I'll look for your arrival on horseback the next time a wisecrack is made about Monte Kiffin's age.

Call it a diversionary tactic if you want, it's a silly double-standard and one I don't care for. Nor should anyone else who has ever sought gender equality. There is no good reason why ageism is okay but sexism isn't and you certainly can't provide one.

We can agree to disagree. Keep your opinions within the site guidelines, and that's all it is, but just know I personally don't have a lot of tolerance for sexually insensitive commentary.

You probably can guess how I feel about other blatant disrespect towards members of the organization. As long as that remains within guidelines, though, it's another matter entirely.

Why are ageist remarks allowed but not sexist ones? Perhaps that's a question best asked of whoever created the forum guidelines, if that truly is the case.

I don't care who you ask, so long as the guidelines are observed.

In the photo where she's wearing Mile's jersey, she totally looks like the blonde from Friends.
Can't think of her name ???

Congrats Miles

My hissy fits? LOL!
I guess providing objectively based facts amount to hissy fits. Okay, I'll take it. :)

Rather, people who know good taste and aren't afraid to support it regardless what the justifiers think.

Not up in arms. Just supporting him. You didn't like that I did so here we are.
Second, I'm sorry but did someone say they wanted to "hit" some man around here or "hit" someone's husband? That would be an apt comparison.

Get on your high horse and go lecture someone else. Take your double standard with you while your at it.

Why don't you get "on" your high horse and act like a mature adult and not a testerone-laden teenager. :)

Instead of worrying about my maturity level, why don't u commence in patrolling the forum for untasteful posts.

You should have your hands full.

You are touting someone's post where four people liked it as if you are speaking for the vast majority of the people here.

And an apt comparison to my comments is nothing more than the thousands of posts that have been typed here referring to things such as the derogatory comments about jerry Jones or monte kiffin and many many other men.

Again take ur double standard, higher than thou jackass posts to someone who gives a crap. The only fact here is that you were nowhere to be found during all of those other posts but just so happened to try and play Mr tough guy now.

The draft is coming up so why don't u volunteer to go police that event for your hogwash higher up moral superiority.

Oh, get off your high horse, King Chivalry. I've never seen you tell other posters to shut up if they aren't "respectful of men". And since it's 2014 women needn't be held to a higher standard.

But now that you've taken on the role of Manners Police, be sure to visit the next Jerry/Garrett/Romo/Ware thread and offer the same advice to anyone who shows any form of disrespect towards one of them.

In a situation where crude language was used, I decided not to be quiet for a change, and remind Crown Cowboy to be respectful of women. "I'd hit it", is neither respectful of others, nor does it gather respect from others, men and women included. Crude remarks, left unchallenged will increase dramatically. I think we are all better for thinking through our words before we hit, "Post Reply"

Here's the problem: you're not the manners police. Hence the suggestions that you hop off that high horse.

Just because YOU had a problem with the comment and chose to apply a double-standard doesn't mean he needs to conform to your way of thinking or "shut up."

News flash: EVERYONE on this board needs to speak up when crude comments are made. It's a reminder to all of us to stand up for what is good and decent. If we keep silent, we give approval. I won't be silent about that stuff, if I see it.

Fair enough.

I expect to see you become very active on this forum on a daily basis with your proclamation to be as proactive as you say you will be.

Goodluck with that.

I'll be sure to PM you anytime I see someone post something crude from now on. Then you can hijack whatever thread the comment was made in to tell that poster, "Be respectful of ___, or shut up if you can't."

That way you can stay on your high horse and stand up for what YOU believe is "good and decent" while forcing others to conform to your way of thinking. You also get to feel like you're better than the person you chastised, a thrill you're certainly familiar with.

And I'm sure you won't ignore the PMs... after all, if you keep silent, you're giving approval, right?

You'll be CowboysZone's Respect Sheriff. Every good message board has a Respect Sheriff.
