Congratulations Demarco

Just noticed Murray has 913 yards and 7 TDs thru 7 games in 2014. In 2013, he had 1,121 yards and 9 TDs over 14 games.

Surprisingly, he had a better average per run last year.

He wasn't given the carrys per game that will kill an avg when your running out the clock to win a game.

I'm not even sure where this record stops.. maybe against the Cards..

Am I the only one that doesn't care a lick about this so called "record?" Now don't get me wrong, 7 games in a row with 100 yds is very impressive, but the fact that the record is qualified by "to start the season" just makes me roll my eyes. The record is 14 games. Lets shoot for that.

The OL is actually more excited about this record than anyone else. They take pride in it, and that is a GOOD thing. I agree, the record is secondary to winning. But the record is also focusing the OL and setting a high standard for the entire offense. If this motivates them to become great at what they do, it is a GOOD thing. Is this record making our OL dominant, or is our OL dominant and so the record? Who cares, let's just keep it rolling, every little bit helps and all GOOD things come to an end, so let's enjoy it while we can.
