Congratulations on your first NFL victory as a head coach. I’m sure you received a game ball from your players.

As bad, inept, and embarrassing as the defense looked at times, and as bad as special teams were (penalty after penalty after penalty in the return game), and as shaky as your left tackle was today, you called the plays in a winning game that seemed lost again and again.

I was pulling my hair out early on all the screens and flat passes when the Giants were swarming in tight man coverage, but when it counted, you not only called a great game, but you never gave up on running the ball, not even when we were behind late. You ran it; the clock ticked; the OL loved it; the defense got a little gassed; Williams got stronger and stronger.

I’m sure there will be naysayers, but your offense put up 37 points in regulation when nothing was easy against a stingy defense that gave up only 21 last week to the Commanders, NFC runners-up last year.

Please give Eberflus and Hightower a solid kick in the balls. Then enjoy your first victory. You stuck to your philosophy and were about as balanced as one could be when the defense gave up 37.

I believe he was presented the game ball by Dak and another player. Missed his name when he said them in his post game presser.
