Yep, they kept saying how McCoy and Bradford would cancel each other out, allowing Tebow to get the most votes and win...but it just goes to show you how much the media knows.

Yep, they kept saying how McCoy and Bradford would cancel each other out, allowing Tebow to get the most votes and win...but it just goes to show you how much the media knows.

The opposite actually happened. A Bradford/McCoy "alliance" meant that Tebow ended up third on a lot of ballots, costing him points.

Sam voters tended to put Colt second and Colt voters put Sam second. What swung it for Sam was that most Tebow voters put Sam second. So you had a situation where Sam dominated the second place votes and got a fair amount of first place votes. Tebow was either first or third.

Three great candidates and it was hard to go wrong.

Congrats to Sam!

Congrads to Bradford. I was pulling for Colt but I think highly of Bradfords ability at QB and can't fault the voters. So congrads once again to Bradford, now go to the NFL no need staying at OU. :laugh2:
