barwin will be gone way before we draft from what im hearing

todd archer says that austin is valuable, stick with a guy that yoiu know, in comparision starting over with a rookie; he is up there now with jets visiting them now, austin will be there the next 2 days

yes they can put a poison pill, if jets want to do that with austin, league frowns on it, but they llet them do it;

if they let him walk austin cowboys get the 52nd pick;

wrs question to todd from smoaky, like can roy williams be star number one wr
etc, if the cowboys lose them, yes, but todd thinks they will draft a wr;

but if they lose austin, then that makes it a need pick; and you have to pick high wiht a wr if they lose austin;

jets know the cowboys cap situation, sso maybe the jets can frontload a deal and make it hard for cowboys to match austin deal

going to be about finances, on how much to spend on austin; clearly he is going ot make more than 1.5 million, but cowboys are going to have to pay more maybe, todd thinks that the cowboys thought no team would give up a 2nd round draft choiice for austin;

plan is for cowboys with all their picks todd; i think your gong to see them trade down or trade out or trade up and really wind up with 6 picks, because if your draft picks dont make the team, then it counts against you in cap

safety, safeties the cowboys have had in are louis delmas, mike hamlin, mcbath,
linebackers coming through next week; defensive end like sidbury
havent foudn out too much about wrs coming in to dallas
and offensive tackle they are looking at players in draft

aikmans comments on roy, i think its what you should expect, but roy is right, that roy willilams has to prove he is a number one wr, althought minnesotta probably says their trade for heshel walker was the biggest bust in history
thats it
offensive tackle

He's an athlete who still needs to figure out his position.

I want no part of him in the draft.

Thanks for the link....but you're crazy. I'd love to get this guy. He's going to be a player IMO.

Barwin had alot of sacks in a good confrence, at a position he is still learning to play. On the other hand Sidbury had mediocre numbers in a mediocre confrence though he has the measurables. Barwin maybe a Kevin Greene (ex Ram) type player. Only way Dallas gets him is trade up.

I'm against using a day one pick on a project.

And that is what Barwin is to me.

I'd take him in the third... but he'll be long gone by the time we pick in the second.

To me, that says he won't be on our team.

Yeah, all he's done is dominate at a position he doesn't know and blow away scouts in athleticism tests. Plus, he's got great intangibles. NO THANKS!
