Hope it works just like I hoped it did for Chaz Green and any other player that catches all the heat. He did not have a good playoff game but besides Schultz and Vander Esch, who did?

Lamb had 1 for 21. Parsons singled out Samuel before the game as his and the run D gave up 170 yards.

Conner Williams was a project and maybe he was just in the wrong place for too much time?

I think he might do better at center and with miami.
Dallas put him in the wrong spot, I think he played tackle in college, and was not big enough to play guard.

South Florida's Dolphins have made Connor Willimas their #1 center. The Dolphins had the worst OL in football last year. They had drafted high and early many OLmen in the past few years. They are trying to get the best 5 on the field.

How many holding calls will Connor get this year when he has to first make sure he snaps the ball correctly?

Wow!!! Just Wow!!!

By making Williams their center they are almost guaranteeing that the Oline will remain substandard.

Connor Williams only exceeded the NFL average for OL penalties in 2021.

If he can consistently snap the ball in shotgun, he'll probably become a good Center.
- It is much more common to have under-powered Centers than under-powered OGs.

Here we go AGAIN!!!

You might want to stick to X's and O's. Your Olineman analysis has been something not to be desired over the years. You giving Williams your thumbs up is almost the death nail for the kid. Have to feel bad for him.

He's been excelling every season. With just 12 sacks allowed, 11 QB hits & 8 total pressures, Williams has a career pass-blocking efficiency rate of 97.4 percent.

Among guards with at least 200 run blocking snaps, Williams graded out at the 10th-best run-blocking guard in 2021 by Pro Football Focus and 13th in the same category in 2020.

I think this is my favorite post of the year.

Seems like center is always the best position for a guy who can get over-powered on the line. Be like Step and perfect that technique until the size and strength isn’t as big a deal. Of course, Step didn’t get penalized every game either.
