Because he didn't struggle. This is like the Dak can't throw the ball downfield argument, it is a talking point that somehow became factual by the lemming masses.
You cannot tell me that it is Connor's fault on the running plays going away from him where the DT is lined up head up with the center and the ball goes that way. That is an impossible block to make even sometimes. I believe that the center called the wrong blocking assignment or was supposed to at least slow him down. But hey, that is his fault and I see that kind of miss all of the time on the cowboys...maybe it is our blocking scheme.
So that is 2 "Struggles". That leaves 6 more. The first bull rush, his right leg was caught on the center and he nearly fell over because of it. Is that because he isn't strong enough? Really? If he wasn't strong enough, he would have been toppled backwards.
So that leaves 5. "Struggled" on another play where Atkins shot the gap to his left and Connor rode him around the qb who completed the ball with little effort. Ya, guess what, you are going to have those occasionally. He recovered and gave his qb time.
He "struggled" on the play where the DT swam him quickly and the center picked him up. Hmmm...ok, not great. But it literally was inconsequential to the play as it was going to the right.
I don't even remember any of the other "struggles". All i know is he was really good in the straight line run blocking which flies in the face of he isn't strong enough. I also know that he was VERY good in the pulling game...amazing even.
