So if Sorensen is a bum in SF and a bum at ST in Jax why hire the guy Schott when most of the other hires got passing grades .

Some coaches get hired because of relationships. That's why Mike Nolan ended up here under McCarthy. No-Schott and Sorensen have known each other for years, so clearly No-Schott likes working with him and probably thinks a lot of him. That doesn't necessarily make him a good coordinator.

You didn't make up eighth-ranked defense, just like I didn't make up how that defense faltered down the stretch, which was the reason he was fired. Now, like us, San Fran suffered a lot of injuries last year, so the struggles weren't all his fault. For our purposes, though, Sorensen didn't have good results as an ST coordinator, and I don't know the reasons for that.
