I was going to add JWit but he was talking about WR's (I thought) and I didn't want to cloud the picture.1. Dez
2. Witten
3.Beasley
4. Twill

Carroll getting burned by Pryor
However, he had a great game against OBJ
Broaddus & Jeff Cavanaugh looked at his tape and both said they prefer him to Carr.
All well in good, but these formulas with salaries weve been doing havent translated in winning a super bowl
He's okay. He's a downgrade from all 4 corners we had last year though
Right, verfiying what I said. All well and good but, we don't have a Brady right now and we haven't had a Belichek since the 1990's. Garrett is no Belechik and he can't play him on tv. Atlanta played NE about as well as a team could for 3 quarters and still Brady brought them back to win. We currently don't have a DL that can complete for a full game with them so we have to keep building and hope for a day in the future.
Twill can't even catch the ball with his hands. Has to use his chest first. Can't stand him as a #2 receiver.
We suck at getting our #2 WR involved and we got holes all over the team.
Im glad he and Butler are back.
My biggest gripe with the offense would be that we need to get better at setting the edge on run plays and we need a vertical threat down the middle.
Amazing what a little willpower and the hassle of having no cap room can do.Outstanding job by the FO.

We need to have a legit #2 that can take the pressure of the Dez and the double teams. Would have loved to get a receiver like Pryor. He was fantastic last year on a crappy team. Dude goes up and gets the ball. TWill can't do that.. he just catches it with his body and no other option.
I agree, but in the big picture I'm fine keeping TWill at #2 for this season if its a very friendly contract, mostly because we have so many other questions and Dak has built some chemistry with him. I think they draft a WR and keep developing Butler and Andy Jones, so hopefully someone develops enough to push him out of the WR2 spot. We will also have a ton of money for FAs next year and could sign someone then.

Remember that position is always going to be the 5th option for Dak at best.We suck at getting our #2 WR involved
One issue is that Carroll might not be a "solid" CB. He was brutal last year but people are assuming that it was just a system change that led to his struggles.
He was a mediocre CB even before last year. He's not as good as Carr or Claiborne. If one of those two aren't back, we have taken a step back at CB and are hoping that the draft delivers an immediate impact at CB.
Williams' was a very nice signing, however.
You sure you aren't confusing him with Bradley Fletcher?
We are starting to get pretty good at this...Interesting salary cap note, Spotrac posted the new salary numbers for Terrence Williams and Nolan Carroll and both are very good deals from the Cowboys perspective.
Terrence Williams has a 5 Million bonus spread over 4 years with a 1 Million salary in 2017, then 3.5 Million in 2018 and 2019 with 4 Million in 2020.
He has a cap hit of only 2.25 Million next year, only about 600K more than his cap hit last year. Only 2017 and 2018 are guaranteed salary. Several reports have said he had a big offer from another team that they pulled at the last minute so he came back to Dallas quickly. Works out well for us cap wise.
Nolan Carroll signed for a 3 Million dollar bonus with salaries of 1 Million in 2017 and 3 Million in 2018 and 2019. None of the salaries are guaranteed. Very good contract for the team considering Carroll is a solid CB.
