With the current CBA most drafted guys will finally start showing out in their contract year. You cannot sign picks to 7 year deals anymore, 1st rounders now get 4 year deals and after that it is usually 3 year.

You know they can get cut in Years 1-3 if they lollygag around

Getting better usually coincides with age and experience.... not surprising they get better Year 4
