Yes it was. That Hail Mary came a few plays after Dallas converting a 4th and 17. I don't think the Cowboys had a 17 yard pass all game. That sideline pass and catch by Pearson was a thing of beauty. Especially considering it was in the mud with no time to throw all game. But the only thing I remember watching was the SB.

Flamma--do you remember when Pearson caught it hip level and turned and it looked like referee orange flag was thrown but it was an actual "orange" a Viking fan through at Pearson?...when it first happened i

thought it was OPI...i was 17 at home alone in my moms room jumping up and down on the bed....that is when i was convinced that if i only watch the game cowboys will win i was their lucky charm...did not work

in super bowl...wow that was 46 years ago...time flies

Back then the 26 inch was top of the line. The closest I came to that was breaking a 12 inch black and white after Danny White got strip sacked in the 1981 NFC championship game. Mad that the Cowboys lost a game they should have won. And mad that I had to watch it with a Giants fan on a 12 inch black and white TV!
I think the NFC championship games against San Francisco. Green Bay was better than some Super Bowls. Better than sex. LMAO. I saved up, you’re right. It was an expensive TV for its time. My wife was so pissed

I broke a 26 inch series consul TV when Smith dropped the ball in the Endzone. Long time ago. I was in the military , Too much testosterone. Lol. Those days are over. Although I do get emotional. It’s an emotional game

whirlwin----Flamma is talking about 4 years earlier...when cowboys lost ...yes by 4...21-17 not the brutal 4 point loss 4 years later 35-31....Smith hated himself for so long after that....the announcer knew to cut him slack when he said poor guy...that is like in 1991 when kicker for Bills missed 41 yd FG wide right...game over Giants win....its so brutal on those poor souls

Golden Richards running down the right side line. I believe it was a Monday night against Washington. Just before halftime touchdown. So many great memories.

And you know. You have to feel for these guys. Jimmie Johnson just knew the bills running back Thurman Thomas would fumble.

man i kinda felt for Bills....but to make 4 straight super bowl appearances is a great feat...regardless if you did not win one...its tough making it back 2 years in a row let alone 4...if cowboys would have kept Jimmy

as coach they would have won 4 straight super bowls that is for sure

It rings a bell in my head. I'm just not totally sure.

Yeah, crap was expensive back then. In 1978 a 19 inch Sony color TV was 1000 bucks. That's a lot of money today for most people.

We only had one championship game against GB, right? The 49ers games were exciting. I knew we'd beat the Packers. That was a foregone conclusion.
