Coop

Hell of a game last night. Dude was in beast mode. His best game on the road as a Cowboy. Respect.

Hopefully, it puts to bed this idea that he's a bad road player. He's a bad player when he's hurt because his game is built on speed and precision routes, which both are affected by lower-body injuries. Hopefully, he can avoid those this season.

Heck yeah, Cooper was a beast. I hope that CeeDee can be as smooth as Coop. Tampa has a stout defense that rose to elite, Cooper was clutch.

It's funny because Lamb actually has better hands that Cooper. Cooper isn't as natural of a catcher, which is why he sometimes struggles with drops. Lamb's drops come from a lack of concentration as he's expecting to catch the ball and has moved on mentally to what he's going to do after he catches it. Hopefully, it gets pounded into his head that the move doesn't matter if you don't secure the ball first.

Yeah. He had good game, but he wasn't the best receiver on the field for this game. Antonio Brown was.

I took Chris Carson towards the end of the 3rd round and the guy drafting right after me stands up in excitement over the fact that I, a die hard Cowboys fan, passed on Lamb for the last decent starting RB left on the board. 5 picks later I scooped up Cooper, winked at him and said, "Phew, got the Cowboys WR I wanted"

We will see… he was definitely in some pain last night. Toughness is an issue— can he handle the punishment over a whole season?

Still— he brought the effort and was there for the team last night and left it on the field. Nothing but respect from me for that

I don't think it's an issue of toughness. He plays through things like chronic plantar fasciitis, so I don't doubt his toughness. The issue is just the injuries. It's impossible to run as fast or cut as sharply when you have leg injuries.

Couldn't have been Amari. All we've heard about here for 2 years is how he disappears on the road and in big games.

Every WR gets banged up…. Coop’s issues have been about disappearing for drives or whole games at times.

He has found a reason to be on the sideline in the past. You can’t only show up when your body feels great and you are 100%. The great WRs show up with consistency and that has been missing at times in Coop’s game.

Last night he showed me something fresh in his game and he was all guts for his brothers and you could see he was not feeling good. Maybe in years past he would have found the sideline— but last night makes me think he has started to mature into a complete player and refine this aspect of his game

Cooper was as healthy last night as he has been since coming here. In 2019, when fans like you blamed him for disappearing, he was trying to play through lower-body injuries that should have kept him on the sideline. But believe what you will that he's suddenly changed as a player.

Last night he balled out. On the road. When he was clearly not feeling good. Can you show me a bigger road game where he played better?

I can’t stand self-righteous “fan police” posters like you who try and “educate” and “correct” every little post they see lol… get off my lawn as I could care two craps about what you think lol

Coop is the new Romo for me ........ Every time he gets tackled he lays on the ground writhing in pain and it scares the hell out of me
