Coop

Last night he balled out. On the road. When he was clearly not feeling good. Can you show me a bigger road game where he played better?

I can’t stand self-righteous “fan police” posters like you who try and “educate” and “correct” every little post they see lol… get off my lawn as I could care two craps about what you think lol

Lower-body injuries like a pull or strain or plantar fasciitis are very different from not feeling good, which I'm not sure why you believe anyway (because he stayed down in the end zone after his TD catch?).

I don't care what you can stand or can't stand, your view about Cooper's road play is incorrect. I'm always going to try to correct and educate bad information.

You want evidence of him playing as good or better in a road game, just look back over his career. His biggest game on the road yardagewise came while he was with Oakland when he had 173 yards against Tampa Bay. He's had multiple games on the road with more than 100 yards receiving. For us, though, I do agree that this is his best road game, but not because he's suddenly matured or cares more, simply because he's healthy.

Interesting take…. So you claim this is all plantar fasciitis and lower body injury related? That explains his performance?

So his plantar fasciitis and injuries just magically disappeared when he played home games? They only showed up when he was on the road?

If you can’t acknowledge the fact that Coop’s home/road splits have been an issue in Dallas— that’s your prerogative— but the facts are what they are: he has disappeared for stretches in the past.

As I said in the OP— I loved his performance last night, and yes, I do see it as him taking a step forward. A few days ago he spoke out about viewing himself as the best WR in the game— but that he hasn’t proven that out yet.

In my opinion, it is very possible that he reflected on aspects of his game he wanted to improve on, and he put it into motion last night and therefore is learning and growing as a player.
