My intent isn't to knock Beebe here, the guy had a pretty good year overall, but I think we do need some context when comparing Centers to other positions along the OL. Centers will often times be the extra guy on the OL when a team rushes 4 and wont have a man directly over them. Centers also tend to either see overloaded looks if the OL is weaker on the interior, or minimal heavy looks if their team is weaker on the edges like the Cowboys were this season. Among all Centers in football Beebe's pressures allowed ranks 14th in the league for all Centers who meet minimum snap requirements. A year ago his 18 pressures would have been 4th best in the league for whatever its worth. I'd have to dig in deeper to the actual data to say for sure, but It does seem to be a trend around the league in more edge pressure than interior pressure this season.
Again I'm not trying to bash Beebe at all, I'm a big fan, but on a list like that I think a guy like Joe Alt is more impressive even though the pressure % is higher.
