Cooper Beebe was playing mind games with the Texans pass rush

Beebe is not Fredbeard but then arguably Fredbeard was the best center the Boys have ever had

he is quite solid and from all accounts is doing a very good job.
Frederick was really, really good but any discussions about the best centers in Cowboys history also has to include Tom Rafferty and Mark Stepnoski.

what part of arguably do you not get?
if he had remained healthy, he was on a trajectory to make it to the HOF
I agree with you, apologies if my post sounded like it did not. And I agree, if not for the illness he would have made multiple more All-Pro teams and been in the HOF discussion. As for his Cowboys legacy, I also have him near the top.

Love this guy. He sure received a lot of 2nd guessing from fans when he became C1.
I was happy with the Beebe pick when it happened, I was just concerned about making him a center after he hardly did it in college. Sometimes the snaps can be wonky. But he's really held it down.

We praising a guy for doing the same thing other centers do all the time? Guys been starting for how long now?
Don't you agree that he deserves "praise" for picking up the habits of other centers after doing this for only 2 seasons? Cheese and crackers, how long you been a hater?

Is those mind games the reason the Texans defensive line was kicking their arses all game long?
How did he do these head bobs without getting penalties called on him?
You’re a miserable person aren’t you?

No fan loves every player. You're lying if you tell me you love every single guy in this roster.

I think we could use an upgrade at the center position. Any team that wants to run the ball effectively has to have a top-notch center. Center is the one guy that needs to get to the second level every run play. Every since Fredrick left we've been struggling to run. So, its not hating, it's just a fan being a fan.

If you call, me wanting my beloved Cowboys to be the best of the best again hating, then have at it.

But here's my big CowboysZone question for you...
WHY YOU HATING ON MY HATING? lol...

I do think Frederick was better pure C than even Stepnoski. Travis was just like a grizzly bear; faster than you expect and a mauler

I do think Beebe has become a REALLY good C considering he'd never played it until the NFL.

Beebe's smart...probably why he kept HOU guys confused.

Yeah, the 1st half the OL got manhandled. But the Cowboys offense dominated the 2nd half and put up 28 points.

Turn-Steele was the weakest link.

Beebe was better last year than he's been the first four games this year. He's a solid player, nothing special. Maybe getting Smith back next to him at guard helps him. He might have had too much on his plate trying to cover for Bass, not sure.
Beebe and Bass are about equal. Booker and Smith are elite. Guyton's finally balling.

Bass is ranked 30th out of all NFL guards, ironically. We're just used to seeing pro bowl/all-pro guards.

Bass and Beebe both grade out better than Turn-Steele.

Steele's the weakest link, even with the backup out there on the field.

That is a cool story. I wonder if they could teach several members of the defense to employ these Jedi head bobs...
