Cooper Kupp is not expected to return to Rams

Actually that's not a bad idea. Dowdle, Ekeler and you throw a 2nd or 3rd round pick at someone like Judkins or Henderson and you have yourself a nice rotation there.

You still need a #2 WR though too. I didn't want my post to think I was advocating for Kupp, I am just advocating for a legitimate #2 WR to help Lamb and Dak.
I agree.

Mine would be (again, based on what I think the front office would spend):
RB Chubb
RB Ekeler
RB 2nd or 3rd round pick
WR Lamb
WR Diggs

I think the front office would probably do Dowdle over Chubb, though, because they like to reward their own free agents. I just think if the price is similar, I'd rather take a shot with Chubb.

And I say what I think the front office will be willing to do, but I don't know if they will be willing to spend enough to get more than Ekeler from that group.

He doesn't fit Jones' criteria. He needs to be coming off a major injury and on the downside of his career. In other words, you're more likely to see them sign Stefan Diggs!! LOL :muttley:
9 year career
He is on the downside of his career and hasn't been fully healthy since Stafford rocketed his career up for one year.

I DO like him, but he is a #2 guy now.

You need another WR. You can't run Lamb out there with a bunch of nobodies.

The FA class of RBs isn't great. So save your draft picks for RB and DL and get a good vet WR.

We'll do none of that so..............
They certainly will draft running backs and a dtackle.

This team needs speed on the outside, not another possession receiver, and one that can't run anymore at that.

Kupp a couple years ago maybe but not the Kupp of today no. He has never had speed (ran a 4.6 at combines) guy is a great rout runner which is how he managed to get open but injuries and age is taking it's toll
