What do you guys think? I’m not talking about stats. Would you guys rather have Cooper or Cooks as WR2? I do think Cook gives us that deep threat we’ve been missing, and has good hands. Cooper beats him in route running.

Look that’s not the question. The question is do you throw cooks in to move up for your guy in the first round? So that’s a 1 4 5 for someone awesome and the Texans are paying for a 3rd of it which is hilarious

I’d take Cooks on 12m over Cooper on 20m but they were both bad deals for the team dealing them. Why not both? Cooper/Cooks isn’t much more expensive than Cooks/Gallup.

Dallas could have reworked Coopers deal just like they have reworked Dak and Martin and so many others. This came down to Cooper pissing off the Jones boys.

Not really. Unless cooper was open to an extension or salary deduction all they could have done is exactly what the browns did. That would have been great for 2022, but right now they boys would be looking at $23M hit for both 2023 & 2024. They could push more money into the void year in 2025 but the browns are already paying him $7M to not be on the roster. How much more do you want to kick into that season?

Brandon cooks is a $12m hit with a clean out next season. Completely different situations.

I agree with those that have said to let it go. Cooper is the better player. It was a silly move on our part. But I love that we were able to pick up Cooks.

Would rather have Cooper. He was only 29 yards off his career high and only one catch off his career high last season on a bad team with QB issues. He had a career high 9 TDs. Hard to believe we gave away more for Cooks than we got for Amari.

Love Amari, but he has ongoing leg issues that crop up every year. I give him credit because he plays through them, but they still affect his play at times. I think Cooks is the more reliable player, but it's close.

The Cooper trade was so stupid that Jerry started talking about it during his last media session despite the fact that no one even asked him about it. Lol He’s still trying to justify it.

Cooper took plays/games off. That's what pissed Jerry off. For such high pay, I don't blame Jerry at all. Let's hope Brandin Cooks shows up to play for his pay.

Yes, Cooks can be one and done, but Cooper might have been the difference in a Super Bowl last year. We had no legit #2 receiver. Teams would have had to pick their poison with Lamb and Cooper.

And the 18m they would have saved last year would have helped cover Coopers salary this coming year and he could have been cut in 2024.

That’s BS! Jerry was pissed because he got Covid and had to miss a couple of games. He talked about how upset he was about it during his radio interview. A lot of us knew that could spell the end for Cooper in Dallas.
