A good defense helps you to stay away from taking unnecessary chances. He's been good with the ball. But even he says the defense has been winning these games, not him.

I agree, I'm just trying to point out that the QBR stat isn't a good measuring tool. We can tell Rush is doing a great job but when you try and say he's the 4th best quarterback in the league right now it's kind of laughable. Again not hating on Rush, nobody is happier than I am at how well he's doing, but we need to tap the brakes a little bit at the moment.

Way to go Rush. Just need to get that ball out fast. A lot of kill kill kill yesterday. Throwing to many deeper passes. Get the ball out faster to shorter high % passes. Like the 2 games prior. They keyed on our run and I think some of the plays Rush changed at the line was changing to the run play. He may have been the one that kept Moore from abandoning the run…

Thank you. The other mantra was "who else you gonna play". Neither of which justify a bad financial decision. There are a lot of QB's who can be a part of the team and win some games. There are very few QB's who are going to put the team on their shoulders. You've got to keep trying to find one of those even though it's difficult.

I mean it's ridiculous what people can convince themselves to justify decisions.

We are 100% in agreement. I would have made him an offer and if he didn't accept I would have treaded water with a cheap QB while I looked for my opportunity to grab a guy.

He's played like a Kurt Warner type through four games now.

I'm on board.

He's legit. You can talk about what he lacks. But it's what he doesn't lack that's making him a serious force in an NFL that's stacked with good defenses across the league.

He's done well for himself. While Dak seems to need to bring his game up to speed.

It'll happen soon. If it doesn't, it's back to Cooper Rush. Jerry pretty much said that last night. That there's no reason he might not be able to come back, because things happen.
