Yea they got massively hurt like we did and fell off a cliff. Doesn’t change the point of Rush not playing tougher competition. Period. He’s done well and handled business but saying he’s played harder competition is just wrong.

I'm no expert, but Dak holds the ball too damn long, and takes very costly sacks. Rush seems to be smarter with the ball and throws it away rather than turning the ball over.

Rush has played Washington, Philly and who…the Bucs? 2 extremely overrated teams with terrible defenses in Washington and the Bucs. It’s not that close of a discussion with Washington’s missed XP and the Saints skew those stats.

The brutal truth is that Cooper Rush is 4-3 with the same 2024 team that Dak was 3-5 with. Even if you don’t think Cooper is better than Dak, convince me how Dak is 58 million dollars better than Cooper Rush? I’m not making stories up or misleading anybody. Cooper Rush has a better win loss ratio THIS SEASON! How on earth does this happen!?!? He makes 60 million a year and has been outperformed by Rush. It doesn’t matter how this season ends anymore. The worst Cooper Rush can finish is 4-5. Advantage Rush.

There are still injuries. The big difference is how the defense is playing. Micah & Bland coming back from injury do help, without a doubt, but ultimately the defense is the difference.

That said, Rush is playing well. I said in another thread that the offense now is similar to what Dak ran as a rookie in that it is designed to get the ball out of the QB's hands quickly and just take whatever is available. That works fine as long as either the running game is effective or the defense is playing very well. Before this game the running game had been very effective for several weeks, and the defense has been playing very well. That's the real difference.

$60M pays for a lot of Derrick Henrys!

Dak fans dont seem to understand this concept, and the jones boys clearly dont understand it either.
The only thing is would the jones boys spend that saved $ or just sit on it?? And if they did spend it would they get the right
players??

My main reason for not wanting to keep dak, was he would cost way too much. Far more than he was worth.

If Rush started from week 1 we’re a playoff team.

Rush not starting from jump street is why the season has played out the way it has.

Dak put them in too big of a hole before he quit.
