Cooper Rush is 4-3 with the same team Dak was 3-5 with

Biggest take away for me is rush has only been sacked 12 times the entire season while Dak is still sitting at 21 times sacked. How you interpret that goes along way into how you view both performances this season.

Nearly every game day commentator, analyst and TV talking head has interpreted it to be the fact that Rush gets the ball out quicker than Dak.

Dak fans, I tell ya.

Not to mention, Rush just had arguably his best game against a team that was leading their division and now may miss the playoffs entirely.

They proved the opposite by beating WSH and TB.

The question is . . . why?

I think the answer is relatively straightforward and includes a few things:
- Cooper gets the ball out fast and makes the simple throw whereas Dak will hold it longer and take higher risk shots.
- Cooper takes a lot of snaps from under center, which gives the RB a quicker run at the line of scrimmage and allows for play action

When Dak holds the ball and plays every snap out of the gun, he kills the run game, makes the O line look bad and with sacks and turnovers, puts the defense in a terrible spot. This goes back to Parcells. Dallas just needs a bus driver.

Dak can do these things when he comes back. Hopefully this whole exercise is a lesson and if Dallas gains anything from this "run" its a humbled Dak Prescott for the rest of his tenure here.

I stick with the original one. Both still bad though, correct. One player costs a whole lot more than the other though.

Rush not starting from jump street is why the season has played out the way it has.

Dak put them in too big of a hole before he quit.
